toaster strudel makes me doodle
eggo waffles feed my poodle
sriracha hot sauce makes my gut toss
taco salad tastes like farts.
smarty thinkers with big wieners
clear the way for bathroom cleaners
dangerous pokemon in the sky
teach me things like how to fly
supple ******* against my chest
your ****** is hard and so are the rest
eat this pear
munch with care
put those shorts on
watch me stare
take a bath in tasty grease
my wiener is small to say the least
now let's race inside this tub
we'll see who get's out first
should we get out?

Take the ego . . .
Not mine but your's !
Toast it golden brown , hot
put some butter and syrup on it
Now see if you can eat it
Without choking on the way down
What ? Milk ? Sure here's some 2%
See if it helps swallow it down
Here's seconds coming up
Hey ! It's your ego
I can't help it if it's large !
Have some more syrup . . . butter ?
How about a gallon to go

I love the way he talks, whisky parched with a little deep tone.
I love when I talk too much, 5am turn the radio up.
Blood, sweat, tears everyday, what do I have to do to get a donut?
My glass is full of wine, ring on my finger I feel imprisoned.
Love it when you're too cool for school, stop being a gangster.
Pop my *** up from a garbage can, wake up shirtless with red scratch marks.
Smell of citrus on my lips, standing too close to the TV screen.
Do I need a lil break tonight? I feel my body tensing up.
BBQ stains oh his left shirt collar, kissing in the rain till my hair frizzes.
*** in the city to the crack of dawn, Eggo waffles down my shirt.
Sipping tea on the back hot porch, singing blues every dreading Sunday.
**** with it.

Bo op 'n berg
Met my bobbejaan gedagtes wat terg
Die eggo van my mania skree terug
Wat soek jy hier?
Ek drink uit die rivier
Ek sink my oë in die rooi son
Ek **** alweer
Die donker wolke
Die reën wat kom
Ek laat my gedagtes so dans
Plek tot plek
Gras van Kees
En mens en vlees
Sny deur my
Woede en naaktheid
Die lag van 'n sekere malheid
En die sagtheid van jou moeder ken
En dan meer bring ek twee
Van my na die tafel in 'n oop gesprek
Met my leemtes en my onbeheerbare
Soeke na wat ek herken binne my donker gate
Ek dwaal verlate

Long Road
When I was born, the mold was broken,
people see me and they become frozen.
Sorry for my big ego,
you better let go my Eggo.
Some say I'm a bit conceited,
not very often, I get defeated.
Sometimes it goes the other way too,
you try your foot in my shoe.
Stressed, blessed and always depressed,
no matter what I do, I'm always impressed.
I'm cocky with no confidence,
falling down then getting up,
made me who I am today.
Can't always get what you want,
just make sure, you have what you need.
I always do what I want,
when it's good, I like to flaunt.
I'm amazing in the most awesome way,
trying always to have a great day.
My girl keeps me under control,
she's my heart and my soul.
I'm outrageous and contagious,
I wish I was a bit more courageous.
After a life of pure hell,
I proudly admit,
I'm doing well.

Here's what I'll collect of us:
1. Your hand holding my nine year old one,
2. small and uncertain
3. small and growing
4. You waking up before the rest of the world
5. The sound of you raking fallen brittle palm fronds and leaves
6. Feeding the dogs
7. Turning the cornmeal for them in the massive ***
8. Your rare smiles
9. The smell of Old Spice
10. Filling the shopping cart with whatever I wanted
11. My too-tiny hands clasping about the cart and pushing it along with you
12. Us scouring the aisles for Eggo's waffles and my favorite brand of banana chips
13. My nine year old self sitting on your lap while you dozed off
14. Our conversations about politics and the current state of the world
15. Our long conversations
16. Our long conversations about your youth
17. Me hearing your story about how you cared for yourself from 15 years old for the 105th time
18. Me never getting tired of hearing about that story
19. Your rare smiles reaching your eyes
20. The softness of your hair as I stroke your head now
21. Sitting by your bedside and being comforted by your soft breath as you sleep
22. Sitting by your bedside remembering my childhood with you
23. The long summers in your house with grandma and my cousin
24. The long summers in your house on the island
25. The long summers back home--back in your home country
26. Your hand holding my nine year old one,
27. small and uncertain
28. small and growing
29. You waking up before the rest of the world
30. You going to sleep after everyone else
31. Your hand holding mine.
32. Your breath.
33. The softness and steadiness of your breath.

Hollow hollers
Hollow hearts
Hollow causes in the dark
Dark days
Dark deals
Dark embarking in the shrill
Shrill shouts
Shrill sounds
Shrill excitement in the lounge
Lounge in luxury
Lounge in lakes
Lounge in dingy lofts of snakes
Snakes slithering
Snakes strangling
Snakes snaking up your leg
Leg in
Leg of lamb
Leg go my Eggo this ***** a sham

Deep in a sunflower field
Back stroking through the giant pedals
Huge leafs soaking in the rays
This is where I need to stay
Toes slightly tapping the waters edge
With ease nuzzling my feet into the warm, wet sand
A hand pulling me into the unknowing sea
Diving under the waves and realizing it was only me
The coffee ring left behind from your favorite cup
It sat there and I stared while I ate my Eggo waffles with Vermont maple syrup
The stain affected my thoughts
With you gone I’m still trying to connect those lost dots
The view from our Adirondack chairs
Looking at only the smallest river but the highest mountain
With out you in that chair next to mine
I’m trying to find that one to fill, but it takes so much time
The blankets of yellow pedals caress my soul
Laying on a warm and welcomed pillow of love
The steams they read my face
Leaving no room for my space

I pray this pupil’s prayer,
penitent for desiring
an end to this madness
of clearing away snow,
only to find more, compact,
beneath the loose surface
No two snowflakes alike
each snowflake falls with grace
absorbed by tuition fees,
books, books, books!
O the books pour down
clusters of refurbished
cognitive technicalities
Each unique in its crystal formation
drench my shoes to full with repositories
of Professor gods’ wounded knees and sore egos
do I leggo my Eggo
to feast on academia’s wine
glut on the ambrosia of fine whine?
What privilege to live in Snowflakia
the snowbanks are too high, Sir!
-still I climb, seeking purchase-
It takes too much time!
-yet I wade through the drifts-
of alabastards’ Judas kiss
A Snowflake ingrate nation
in turn taken for madness
I cannot find a flick
to fling away wet sopping masses
of absence from classes
brain drain juices taste like molasses
I revile the texture of their pasty *****
You haven’t a chance in Hell-
-Ye Gods! Mea Culpa!
I am sorry, O Ponderous Purveyors,
for my blasphemous prayers
I will see the glass is
full of wine not molasses,
I will be a good snowflake and fall
into my pre-planned place
Your liquid body will purify the well
I want to fall with grace
so I may rise without disgrace.

Being a geek doesn't get you far,
If it did I'd be on top of the world.
The only thing it get's you are strange sensations,
Like you're being twirled.
No I don't like Stranger Things,
No I don't like Harry Potter.
I'm a geek and I love my stuff,
Almost as much as you may love your daughter.
Stranger Things is my life.
I live for things that excite me.
And you better not judge me,
Because I still sting like a bee.
Should I Stay or Should Eggo?
Being a (Stranger Things) Geek

they used to ask me?

I said he'll yeah all across my membrane
use the hair strains
off my ***** mary jane
can't **** with that *******
it's the only way to keep my mind sane
gotta dame yeah she's far from tamed
but I gotta dig deeper
cuz if not she'll leave ya
I told her I'm on some revolutionist ****
she look at me confused *** ****
I told her ya know we kings and queens
but it seems
they always discredit us in a magazine
stereotypes and ******** movie hype
thinkin every ***** is out to snipe
I gotta cope nope I don't sell dope
but my rhyme is dope
to this beat y'all elope
married to tune sounds of doom uh
ya better know the game G
cuz I ain't down with buck dancing G
**** this new slavery and this new waverly
of fashion form **** the uniform I don't conform
to no ********
I'd rather be a dude that a lunatic
I gotta stay true to my barrio
ever since K-rino bumped in my stereo and now I know
why they hate me
it's cuz of my masculinity
wishin they could be us notorious
and dangerous
in lies we trust
government gonna get a gun bust
from every last on of us
my ancestors are my protectors
mama didn't wanna hear me or steer me
so I turned to the universe
and they cleared me
guilty from the system
ghostly farms coming for the lynching
don't be alarm black folks
it's just us returning the yoke
forty acres and a mule
check the clips from the sound of my tool
my Drago leggo my eggo
we beat any scenario
puff another blunt of indo
see me through ya Window
I'm in the thoughts of ya temple
chambers deep creep like TLC
we cool strong and crazy
fools don't phase me cuz lately
I been seein thangs
that the average
eye can't see
so sit back as I wreck the place
holding the world hostage no ransom
prepare for the coming of Scarface

They say "it is the little things"
That I know is true
Of all the little things
Best by far is you
The little things done for me
Each and every tiring day
The moments that stick with me
Take my breath away
Awakening to morning kisses
Start my a.m. right
Smile on your handsome face
In my direct sight
Writing cute sweet poems
Impress on holidays
One example of how you won me
With your charming ways
Buying fragrant flowers in February
This year a sparkly touch
Added a little something extra
Red roses weren't enough
Those "Goodmorning beautiful" texts sent
Distance kept us apart
Shirt smelling like you to keep by my side
You could only be close to my heart
How we joke with eachother
Nightly call me the meanest names
Insults are merely teasing
Others plain don't understand our games
This morning danced around to a rap song
Wearing a smile and underwear
Made me Eggo waffles for breakfast
Thank you babe for showing you care
I guess I owe a multitude
Of little moments like that
The kind small tokens of love
You work to complete each act
So I must try with all my might
A simple girl to prove
That I love you though you outnumber me
In little things but will you help me improve?

I'm not here to be ridiculed, mock, or even roasted.
I'm just not keen on this party or the guy you chose to host it.
Overhead I hear someone touting their grand beliefs.
Therein is your problem lad, who says you even need a chief?
Parties and their senators the governors and their staff.
These are your dear leaders? Am I to ****** laugh?
The Capitol is a rat king wherein their lies are entwined.
Power, greed, and pettiness plaguing their hive like mind.
I'll be honest, I don't care, my life it seems to never change.
You can elect a ****** waffle, it can't get more strange.
These things you want to happen, it'll always start with you.
You can be your own ignition, you only have to see it through.
So elect yourselves an Eggo, a ****** or a *****
Either way I'll bet my *** in four years you'll want a switch.
