Hey
Ive been away for quite a while, seriously missing my new found family here at Hello Poetry...kind of going through some personal, professional and financial challenges as we all do...I've allowed those that dont mean me well the "temporary" victory...and even felt like giving up and throwing in the towel at one point (but not quite to the point of death)...but I feel that we all reach this point at least one time in a life time of many experiences whether good or bad. I haven't had the desire to write or express myself because I am stuck and wallowing in my own self pity and despair, depleted of strength. Some have caused me great malice, and up until this point I've resisted to the impulses and feelings to lash out...back, against them, but a person can only take so much and I know that violence only begats violence, and ignorance, ignorance, so please...can someone, anyone...revive me, resusitate me...and just breathe life into these dry bones that have become shallow and empty with thoughts of anger, frustration, doubt, procratination and guilt...just shoot me a few words of encouragement...lift me up...I will surely pay it forward when I regain my strength and confidence...for I AM NOT a quitter....selah

Gabrielle Union wore a gorgeous fall look in New York City while promoting her show, Being Mary Jane, on Tuesday.
The 42-year-old looked like a vision in her fitted white Sophia Kah dress with crimson lace overlay, as she was spotted leaving Live With Kelly and Michael.
The short-sleeved frock featured intricate detailing on the upper portion, while the bottom half was all white.
The skintight dress, which showed off the Think Like a Man star's amazing body, fit her like a glove.
The pop of color from the wine-colored lace added a bold touch to an otherwise minimal look.
The Bring It On actress kept the bold vibes going by choosing shiny gold heels, which added a new dimension to the look.
She added gold rings to compliment her similarly hued strappy heels with gray polished nails.
The Being Mary Jane star wore her shoulder length dark hair loose and wavy.
Opting for a more vampy makeup look, the starlet wore smokey eye shadow, glossy red lips and rosy cheeks.
During her appearance on the morning show, the She's All That actress wore a more understated look, rocking gray slacks, a black top and bright pink heels as she spoke to Michael Strahan and guest host Ciara, who filled in for Kelly Ripa.
The brunette is married to NBA star Dwayne Wade, who plays for the Miami Heat. The couple first met in 2009 and married in August 2014.
Her husband has three sons: 13-year-old Zaire Blessing Dwayne, eight-year-old Zion Malachi Airamis and two-year-old Xavier Zechariah, from previous relationships.
The 33-year-old athlete also raises his 13-year-old nephew Dahveon.
On her show, she plays the character Mary Jane Paul, an on-camera reporter who has to juggle work, love and family.
The third season of Being Mary Jane premieres on October 20th on BET.
The starlet is also currently filming The Lion Guard, an animated TV series where she voices the character of Nala, set to premiere on the Disney Channel in 2016. She recently wrapped The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar TV movie, which premieres this November.

I can see a pod of whales
Off into the Oahu horizon
Where the sea touches the sky
Where on this day nature takes it's course
There's a calmness in the palms
Up above the Koolau Mountains
Rising to it's feet
Below the stretches of white sand beaches
Bowing it's head
Clouds shedding a tear
A rainbow hugging the sky
One last time
Kisses and love abound
Many moons ago life was good
For the Chapman's
A successful show, partnership,
Branches on the tree
His, hers, humanity and mankind
Especially the underdog
Today Beth passed away
A turning leaf, still green
And in the summer of her life
I can phantom those pod of whales, forever
Out in the horizon
Where my teary eyes can't see
And where my heart wants to be

When the night silently whooshes
Over the sky,
It becomes that time of day,
The time to recline
And watch Dwayne Chapman and friends
Apprehend the wanted and charged
In the Hawaiian splotches of land.
Every cut to commercial
Happens at the ****** of each episode,
Starving the soul for what might happen...
When really the cut-scene continues
With less action than Beth, Dwayne,
Leland, Sonny, Cleo,
And Baby Lyssa may stir before a break.
Cars, cameras, and people
Move in hot-pursuit.
And thus the setting of the TV series
Isn't the only dimension
Captured.

I woke this morning feeling good & ready to start my day
Washed up, got dressed, then got on my knees to pray
Asked God to look after everyone I love, to keep em safe
And to make today a great beautiful day
As I proceed with my daily activities, I start getting this bad feeling
Like something was about to occur, either a tragedy or another senseless killing
But as soon as I’m enjoying myself as always, something tells me to check my phone
I open Instagram only to see the saddest news, another King knocked from the throne
Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy has been pronounced dead, gunned down in his car
As soon as I’m healed from depression, here comes another unexpected scar
A guidance to many, hated by many, but his message recognized by a large few
And the same ones who hated were now the ones showing love, what’s new?
Trapped in this cold world, you were the light that overshadowed the darkness
This world needed a new direction of guidance & you were the one to spark it
Lost your life in a senseless way but your music & message will live eternally
Only thing is that your bright side will now shine over the madness
Still an empty place in the hearts of the family that your music was the answer to their sadness
Long live a King on a mission to save himself as well as those who’ve followed his lead
Rest in Paradise & thank you for giving those such as myself the faith to believe

Abandons me, the mind declines to think!
The hero comes from Greece? Or was it Rome?
He quests to seek the something something? ****
Or maybe he’s attempting to get home?
NO! NO! He’s not a bleating little lamb!
Of course! A dusky maiden, she’ll be caught
In some forsaken dungeon / castle? Nice!
And after all his enemies are fought
The hero saves the day and we rejoice!

There's a greater
Surer
Higher rock
That rocks all wannabe kingdoms.
This cross-border nation is a world-wide, mountain-rock-hard awesome kinda kingdom;
It towers taller than other soon-to-be-dust kingdoms and then some.
A mountain-refuge that is never over-run.
A no-messing, let's-get-things-done kinda kingdom come.
It's a rock with deeper rhythm
With purer wisdom
With a you-can-rely-on firmer foundation.
It's a rock that's a clearer reflection
Of God's always-as-He-intended creation.
Not a win some - lose some, tried it's best til it succumbed, kinda innovation;
But a tried and tested place for ALL those called by the one and only Son.
Yes, a place for ALL those called to His holy mountain nation.
So COME
Step up and place both feet on the Rock that IS God's all-conquering Son.
And stand with us, crying:
"Thy kingdom come".

gosh I’m just so heart broken sometimes you know seeing your post knowing he’s better then me just cause the fact he’s close enough to brush his thumb across your cheek but you gotta understand that i love you way more then he could possibly know how to love and that we have a connection. Like i love you like how Dwayne loves Whitley, how Jim love Pam, how cosmo loves Wanda, how uncle jesse loves Rebecca and how Eric loves Donna. Idk honestly i love you more then the word itself and i can’t see myself smiling as much as i do with anyone else but you and i can’t deal with the fact that you are my soul mate and i might not be yours so I’m in turmoil so i can’t help to cry even it makes me look weak it’s November 18th 11:57 PM and i love you and you love me too (or at least that’s why i tell myself) but you’re with him. it’s like i created a universe the sun is losing its shine and flowers are losing meaning and beauty you are the goddess that bless my worlds with happiness but now you’re blessing him with smiles and i know you want me in your life and i want to be in yours but it’s like stabbing a knife in my back and in my chest and i can’t help but to still love you cause it’s you
