in the wilderness
i found Your love
a love deep enough to
penetrate the walls of my heart.

in the wilderness
You spoke to me with
a tender voice
calling me home.

in the wilderness,
i fell in love You for
the first true time.

in the wilderness,
You stripped me bare
to make me whole.

We're all just zeros and ones
on a mailing list somewhere
we signed up for
on a whim

Waiting for days to pass
into darkness and oblivion
because who knows
if we matter
in the grand scheme of things

Against this background
of wars and weather change
we fight battles with paperwork
who's turn it was
to load the dishwasher

Who would notice
if we disappeared
lost in the wilderness
A Poem a Day: Monday Mood

the stature of a tree
deeply rooted in the softness of the ground
intertwined and entangled in nature
driven by an unexplainable instinct
to bear down in a soil damp with rain
roots dug further to earths core
a satisfaction of nature’s fulfillment
an act defined by a drive all know
blossoms bloom and erupt in beauty
and the breeze sweeps through the branches
as a breathless, tired earth breathes
the ground wraps around the tree
clinging in love and protection
two beings now made one in one act to be whole

In a day,  with bright Sun,
Shines in the painted blue sky,
I rush to the room,
pick my backpack and thermos.
I  pulled some books with, a pair of shoe,
and a pack of cigarettes and some sweets too.

I leave,

And an escape has planned,
Anonymous and directionless.
I ran, I escaped.
Not a vacation, I can’t.

Maybe in some wilderness,
Or in seclusion, I lay. I Think.
far from each, in the east.
Where I count the leaves of trees
touch the breeze of the north,
and inhale the bright Sun,
Shall make me alive!
These are the thoughts grow in my mind, at my young age, now too ;) to plan an escape from the daily monotonous life. I feel just to leave the concrete set up and head to the wilderness.

Lay in the grass makes me establish a connection with nature, feel more closure to the roots with minimum needs.

loving you
is as dangerous
as running through the jungle
under hanging branches dressed with wild monkeys,
swinging violently above your head
screaming…
and when you escape the green maze
like a speedy snake,
you are met with a
deep
yellow swamp,
with alligators, and venom
and your
sweaty
cut up
body
throbs,
but you dive in-
for love,
and when the alligators kiss your tender belly,
you swim faster-
and jump out as soon as you see the land that
is being soaked with powerful rain and
the lightning just struck a tree, and the
tree is on fire, and your love is on fire-
and you’re alive,
love’s alive-
you are alive.

release me
strip down my skin
shed the timorous flesh
of humanity

release that
beast that lives
in the notsosecret heart
of hearts

release me
let go my womanflesh
let my teeth out
of their prison

release that
tearing ripping ancient
moon beast
of days past

she longs
to stretch her legs
test her teeth
be released
i literally just want to be a werewolf that's what this is about

Raw landscapes shape the far distance
Brutal terrain tests our endurance
A greeting with coldness
A sheet of fog invites us
Raw landscapes welcome us with silence.

starch light, wet wood
leaves drip overhead

I look out my window,
morning sweeps up from underneath, pink light
the mist over our fields, guides me to the coast

hanging rows of laundry,
gravel under bare feet
the wind sighs through my sheets,
and sings herself
into me

I keep changing my address-
and fresh dew lights the way
no concrete stairwells or cigarettes
no tab on my path,
just laying in the grass

with a new book. with my quiet thoughts.

I’m a girl in the woods,
here to greet my big sea
and touch the dirt with my heart
I'm a girl
inside my mind, and right beside my body
I don’t need your city. I am
