Love is a whisper
Echoing in the chasm
Of every heartbreak
And every emptiness

Love is a whisper
Spoken softly to the soul
Echoing in the vastness
Of every need.

Love is a whisper
Heard clearly, echoing
Reverberating, clarion call
That cannot be unheard.

I had a dream last night.
You were there.
Right next to me.
And then you said,
“You know the feeling?”
And I asked,
with a feeling in my gut
that I couldn’t forget,
“which one?”
And you whispered,
“You know the feeling you get
when you love someone?”

And then I woke up.
My eyes flew open.
My arms reaching for you.
But you weren’t there.
No.
You never were.

oh, rose addicted lips,
cruel and beautiful,
whisper your gentle lies
and ponder;
what do you despise more,
the ache or the release?

life full of meaning
when your name enters my mind.
screen of black lit up with your simple calling,
a token of your thinking of me.
smile spreads across
and stomach becomes uneasy...
i want to shout;
shout it to the world
this gut feeling.
it whispers to me:
"you love him.
you're in love with him.
tell him. tell him and he's yours."
only i can't say anything.
it's simply not my place to.
one of the hardest thing is loving someone you can't be with...

You blew me away, like a
                                   feather in the wind.
The very first second I saw you,
                                                   I knew there
was no way I could keep up.  You swept me
             away with your wild currents.
          When I first met you,
                      I thought, I was weak.
I thought you would surely extinguish my flame
  with the tiniest whisper.
But you showed me that I
                   needed
                        you to be stronger,
that I needed you to burn brighter,
not because I was weak, not because I needed a man, but
                      because you were my
other half.
