I guess something is better than nothing, maybe we will wait and see
He said I'm the one they call price, I can set you free
the one they go to for advice, on their debauchery
He said nothing is really ever free, free yourself from reality
inside her head a porcelain doll smash up, and torn to shreds
see the broken bones of lovers strewn across her bed
the ****** ***** of the Antichrist, things that don't make any sense
walk with me into the after life, in life and in death

She did something you thought she would never do surprise you
the magic that she spins, trapped me in that web with you
******* on me now and then, but there is no way to win
I'm the one that they come to with the wagges of their sin
knocking at your door soaked in blood wondering if shell let me in
but she knows I can protect her from the demons and darkness within
The parasites and they monsters that crawl under the skin
remember nothing is for free baby, paying waiting to begin

A life spent spinning.
That is the common trait
shared by spiders,
And me.

I’m sure every spider would say,
If only we would listen,
“there is no greater achievement,
Than a well spun web.”

The first giddy rush
As you hang on a fragile thread
That may
Or may not hold
To the scrutiny of nature.

You create  a delicate structure
Of twisted phrases
Hung with dewy embellishments
To distract and awe your audience.

But over time it falls apart
Foundations break
And loose ends show
To disrupt the believable symmetry.

And then you must patiently wait
Until a clumsy foot or hand or arm
Sweeps through and tears it down
Freeing you from the façade.

Just make sure dear spider
That when your web,
Is broken and blamed.
You were not sitting in its centre
Letting it crash down upon you.

those lines are magical
they shrink the world
bend time and space
they fill my mind
make me happy
but when they stop
i'm small again
and slow again
i'm all blank
and quiet
hmm...

i have dreams about spiders
i have dreams about you
things that could **** me
if they wanted to
in my dreams i’m afraid
that i’ll see them again
because you and spiders
are of the same web.

Life is like a spider's web
Piece by piece
Thread by thread
We work so hard to get it right
It's pieces pure
It's tendrils tight
You've taught me how to see my web
Through different eyes of different sizes
And recognise it's clever guises for what they really are
In other words, thanks for the insight

You crept in my life
Like a sudden gust of wind
Caught in your web
I swore I'd never play in.
You saw my spirit
Through the shadows I cast
But now I'm left to wonder
Will the web you wove last?

Wind bends a weak branch.
Fresh leaves sing in harmony.
A lizard of the same color
slowly stretches his way from leaf to spine.
He stops to investigate a string
of silk from a spider's web
and I wonder how that tastes.
Lit up like a jack-o-lantern,
his glowing body
reveals organs and vessels
much like my own.
He makes his 30 foot ascent
above hot cement
just to sunbathe on a leaf.
What a life that is.

I think "she is a stranger". I hope it is "she".
Strangers we are, but strangers are we?

We both long for our touch to feel some one else's
And our moans to drool out of another pair of lips
We long to give what we crave for our senses
Two wet minds lost in the hips

Two lonely bodies and oceans between
We feel each other untouched unseen
Two waves of the same sea crashing on shores afar
Two lonely souls joined by the stars

She was a stranger. I hope it was "she".
Strangers we were, but strangers were we?

The poet weaves his magic web of words
They dance in the moonlight
Glistening with dewdrops
Like mezmerizing stars
Stalk and pounce is left to lions
The prey will come to him
Lured by sheer beauty
A glimpse of the soul
Hidden secrets locked in boxes
Peeks inside draw her near
The truth is found in years of purging
Unabashed release without inhibitions
Darkness and light
Shadow puppets of reality
Watched, absorbed
And loved more with each passage
Harsh words foment
Pain breeds caring
Love and hope pull her in
Laying bare on the dewy silken words
She waits and he smiles
As he claims his prize

A spider web of support is forming around me.
All sticky
I'm part of it too.
A strand or two
Joined to other crazy amazing strands
I wonder who the spider is
I hope it's not trying to spell
I hope it's binding us with its strongest of web

We hold each other.
We hurt each other:
But we nurse it back
We pull the pieces together
And lift each other up
Shine shine shine

I have an abundance
Friends, creativity, excitement,
Jiggling beside me there is joy
And sorrow
And today I woke up feeling happier
So maybe things are on the rise

There is hope.
There is something.

All the bugs
That attack this web
Spoiling our architectural brilliance
Will be eaten in pay-back
And cruel resentment
And we shall carry-a-on
A spinning along
