Where grey skies fill my mind,
You are the sunshine that fills me .
You are the sunburn that annoys me,
But also warmth that comforts me.
When sunshine creeps in and wakes me,
It also gives me light to lead me.
The sunshine clears the grey clouds away.

On the dock
I feel a very cool
Breeze
I wish I brought a sweater
Better yet
A long slaved t-shirt
That sun is tricky.

Not waving, but drying.
Not surrender, but hope.
Not a reckless abandon
to the uncaring elements,
but a careful reading of the gusts,
of the distant clouds,
of any sign of coming gales.

Not waving, but drying
by a canny application
of my mother's oversized,
double applied,
long-legged, wooden pegs.

Not waving, but drying
by lunchtime.

No weatherman warned me
About the downfall of you

About the pouring out of emotive soul
Which encompassed the morning

In a matter of seconds, falling
Like a haze of pensive dew

And now I cannot unseen the sight
Or the falling skies of you
When the rain falls inside, as well as out. This one's about a memory. But not at all about me.

We love our balmy summer days
But you can have too much of a good thing.
The sun can ****
But even in England
It can get oppressive.

Until a storm last night
It was relentlessly hot
Humid and stuffy
Under a sultry sun.
Hard to breathe and
So difficult to sleep.

Now it starts again
As the cloud burns back
So the sun shines bright once more.

They say it won’t last this time
As Atlantic Weather sweeps in from The West.
They’d better be right
For enough is enough.

UK reord breaking hot summer!

The thing
I like about summer
Is
The thunderstorms
The louder
Brighter
And disturbing they
Are
The better
For they help me be entertained
Or fall asleep.

I don't like the rain
It makes me sad and cold
It sends bones down my spine
And shivers to my cold
Or,
Something like that

I just want to hide
Deep inside
Feel you holding me tight
Kissing my cheek
And my forehead
Pecking each finger
Calming my waters
During my earthquake

Your heart beats in tandem
With each clap of thunder
Eyes blinking
As lightning strikes
You're the only storm
I'm willing to weather
Put me in the middle
Of your hurricane heart
Until I'm washed away
Lost in the shores of your love
Twisted in a love tornado
Just our bare bodies
In the middle of a storm

As I went to blueberry mountain
On a cloudy foggy
Day
I am reminded of my dark past
And the 100 shades of grey
Between now and then
It's almost white where I am
A color of hope.
Starry Aug 2019
It's partly cloudy
Yet not enough to hide
The great Dipper
As i go stargazing
And trick or treating
Ahhh multitasking
