Instead of choosing wings to soar through the sky
We chose our hands, together, intertwined
We are still so fascinated by the sky
Why is simply dreaming considered such a crime?

The summer watches autumn from a distance
And I imagine what its appearance may be
Is  it full of admiration, full of love?
I realize that our future is impossible

Summer rains drizzle water droplets everywhere
Sunbeams filter through the leaves, named komorebi
So many years before you introduced your name,
Was it really you? I question to this day.

Today is once in a millennium, when gravity falls asleep
Let's stand in the sun's blind spot and leave planet earth behind
We'll aim for a place where it can't reach us, when it opens its eyes
On three, let's stamp our feet and float away from here

Let's go
Ikou
Let's go

Hearts that are frozen in winter bring the summer close
In the midst of this dizzy scene, you're the only one who slows
Since meeting you that day, my nightmares disappear
I waited tied by gravity, now let's make it real

Today is once in a millennium, when gravity falls asleep
Jumping to the sound of fireworks, let's fly out of here
We'll aim for a place where it can't reach us, when it opens its eyes
On three, let's stamp our feet and float away from here

Let's go
Ikou
Let's go

Just a bit farther beyond destiny
Just a bit after civilization (Let's go!)
Just a little bit farther beyond destiny
Just a little bit farther,
So let's go

We'll hoist these sails, filled with our dreams
Crossing the night for the day we await
Fulfil this with nothing but our hopes and fantasies
Put our arms around each other, we'll make it work somehow

It doesn't mean, we're not afraid,
but this is unstoppable
Although we tried, to save the day,
but this isn’t worth it all

Our love says, — a voice speaks,
It says to- "Just go!"
These are singable English lyrics I wrote for the OST Grand Escape from the movie Tenki no Ko "Weathering with You". The original lyrics are not mine but this version is.
it hails in late july
and it gets hotter everyday somehow
enough, here's a cold front
your eyes-drooping
your mouth
drooling
grueling everyday
seeing your whole life before you
and laughing
uproarious laughter;
evanescent euphoria

Everyone only appreciates the sun
Apparently beach days and beers
are the only definition of fun.

Blinding sunshine and
sticky, wet, sweat,
it's the only weather
I wish to forget.

But why doesn't anyone
care about the rain,
it's the only weather
that keeps me sane.

You can watch the sky
become dull and gray,
as bright rays of sunshine
fade away.
My old version of this was super cringeworthy so changed it up to a simple rhyme!

this time last year, i wrote about apple cider,
the smell of bonfires in the air,
and midnight walks with you
I sat at the cafe on the wobbly stool
with coffee a bit too burnt
in my favorite yellow sweater
I caught a glimpse here and there
of strangers walking hand in hand
through crowded streets
some were lovers, other just friends
and the girl smoking on the patio
looked unsure of either
i wish that i had held onto that moment
a little longer because this
past October was not like the rest
the streets are empty and so is my mug
the air has gone stale and the leaves
don't fall the same when
no one is watching
the melodic tune of the wind
passing us by is a distant memory
we stumbled, tripped, and crashed
into november without warning
all we can do is hope that
the winter snow cushions the fall
and buries us beneath
it all so that we can
grow anew

Sharpening, my thoughts,
into brilliances of fine fabric of
mentations and my walk
/
the snow that goes ink yet
not spilling
its texture that goes
visible
/
as pure dark of a body in place
of the space of my eyelids
when they fall
strong,
being with the Moon out at night
in freezing gardens
all
without clothes
without anyone to repatriate
me home,
turning into one great cigarette mist
with no
death to.

I know those days of the air
smelling like faded
cities of coal
when Sun crosses
the Moon on the sky
and
creates a thermal pressure sandwich
of 12 airs
/
at adoption by stench or fragrance be it
of composters or
birches when no one else sees I throw
away my pedigree
to humans
always
at last and find
myself at night
more than my
conscience could ever ask for,
and though it
goes beyond
prickliness opaque you’d
be favourable with in
terms of the meeting between
that accounting
and your smell or eyes,
it serves

always still,

hunting instinct of
stoicism
that ask for
nothing more
than the fleeing
of false suns
alongside
the cinnamon visage of the Sun

that no plying month will ever ask
for.
More.
Exorcisms of cold strain, steeling body and phronemophilia for that foundance at night and freezes. They always come in the end, be it winter. Or not.

The softest raindrops hit my window pane,
They help me feel the peace I long forgot,
Their graceful dances fill my mind with hope
That I'm not alone in this dark fight.
I watch the raindrops tangle into one
And hope that my day will come,
When I can trust someone who's good and true,
Who won't forget what the darkness brings.
Oh I don't want to be alone
So I'll sit and watch the raindrops dance,
A graceful harmony of sorts
Helping me feel a little less alone.

stormy skies always make me happiest
there’s some comfort in the gray
like how it blankets down on you
with a whisper
never showy

and they always say
good days should be sunny
but they never learned
how to appreciate
what they were given

anyway

Saving for nothing the lazy will say. I take no money I make no pay. Nerves are shot hair is gray. Not living for tomorrow just for today.
We're breaking her back she's down on her knees. They make the plague and invent the disease as they steal from the poor and make em' say please.
The weather forecast says we're in for a naked storm. Build up the bombs that burst from the core. So we can pile up the bodies on a course for the morgue. Fire on the warpath so the corpses are warm.
Call it their duty so they believe that they're needed policing the masses until their lives are depleted.
Sitting at the lip on the edge of the cliff believing the lies, losing your grip. fingers are ****** as you're feeling em' slip. Sliding down fast with your fleeting regret.
They're breaking her back she's begging them please. Feed her some plague and make her believe.  Build a device to maker concede propagate War set the beast free.
Batten down the hatches prepare for the storm. Send a barrage of bullets on a course for the norm. Settle for nothing and you'll never have more. coddle your loved ones to make them feel warm.
