a lesson to learn,
a passion to return,
a new love I yearn,
my trust, for him to relearn
the feeling of hurt; love itself is a process, and whether if it progresses, it's a different story to tell.

the sheep keep
from freezing by
huddling near
the hollow trees

the trees so hollow
they howl at the moon
as wind passes through

Sometimes
Even the faith needs to
Undergo trial
In order to build
Stronger trust

Afterwards

I look upon shards of dreams
all shattered once taken in a blur.
Leaving me now only the reality
of something they never were.

I have held onto the tatters
of the promises the dream had made.
The memories and the fondness
and the wishing they had stayed.

At the time they held the warmth
and a true purpose to my days.
To give me fulfilment,
until dream and I went our separate ways.

To know the touch, to know the kiss
and the face of a true dream.
Only for it to fade and for loves embrace,
to not be as it would seem.

I cannot hide the hurt
and I wont trust love again.
I live each day in memory
where the scars of dreams remain.

How then can I hear the advice
such as you may give.
For without trust in hope and dream
is how I am now come to live.
I am always finding another shard that gives rise to new verse.
I don't have another way of getting it gone... at least for a while... so I write.

I'd rather become a Titan and hate humans than being the only human in this inhumane world...

If you cannot be honest with me I won't be happy with you
The one thing required for my happiness

For you I try to be less depressed
The most important part of my life is you

I keep feelings close
Closer than my own

Yet
Not close enough
I keep your love like a promise
