Light flashing
Pulse pounding
Heart racing
Caught

Time slows

Blue shirt
Kind eyes
Soft voice
Reprieve

We’ve done nothing wrong
He says
a stately
lacquer there
that dance
would wax
*** in
this donor
but wore
queerish charms
that made
an alarm
on her
border which
drew horse
with wish
of stoning
ice in
this accordance
a note on immagration

The advent of our desires
Makes us scramble
For the basic necessities in life
The culmination of those desires
Makes us bereft
Of a single atom of peace
And sanity in our lives

Legs trembled on the chair
I tried
But it only fails to stop
Am I in this mode solo?
I never held a thought alike
They never turned my hopes
Grabbed it, stacked up high
Where I try my lungs out
To reach, to jump higher

When frustration hits me
A pair of eyes haunted my moves
Spying every step I take
Is this how it goes on?
Do not waste your life away
Hanging around the wrong crowd
For they have nowhere to go
They are obnoxious and loud
The more that you ally yourself with them
Nothing but trouble and turmoil will appear
You will often find yourself in a trance
Am I making myself abundantly clear?

Prematurely mourning
for a heart that hasn't broken yet,
I know the path is dangerous;
I'll risk it all again.

I see can see the quiet
illuminated in the night;
the silence speaks outloud inside
each time I close my eyes.

Nostalgic, painful memories
frozen, falling like hailstones,
and I hear whispered warnings
hidden in each wicked wind which blows.

My stomach drops
when the car goes down a hill.
I feel like I'm falling,
but not in a bad way.
Like a sort of drug,
or midnight shot of tequila.
Warmth floods
my body.
Everything's okay.
If you hurt yourself first,
others don't get the chance.

All I can give you
is my empty heart,
my hollow love.
Like a glove,
it wears thin with time.

Beautifully broken,
barely belonging.
