I’m a star,
Aligned with others in the dark,
Millions and trillions of dreams—
Gravitation pulls their light in streams,
And they shine so bright,
Yet each has its own plight.
The hidden message haha

Light upon the light
High atop the high
Let the lucky brow
Paradise shines
May your most beautiful eyes
Cast a glance!

Let it light up
A candle in front of the mirror.
Ah, wild glimpses—
Ultimately nuanced,
An enduring treasure,
Eternity in shadow,
Gently showing up.

Dear, the buzz is all in bloom.
Without one, nothing is whole.
The sun scrolls down in sizzling gold,
Never derailing, never sliding back,
Looping into the shrouded night.
The color is half full, half light,
Hues reflecting a zillion stars.

Time moves in discovery,
Ever burning the midnight oil—
The humble moon,
Lingering beneath your midnight-black locks.
The color, the fire—will it be the first to spot
Your veiled face, the true morning rose?

In the moonlight's gentle glow,
We met for reasons we may not know.
A blessing wrapped in silver light,
Or a lesson learned in the quiet night.

Each moment shared, a guiding star,
Illuminating who we truly are.
In shadows deep or bright embrace,
Our paths entwined, a sacred space.

so we were by the gate
under a sky of stars
I stretched my hands and she held them
and they were warm
as warm as the red berries I plucked last summer
and she smiled
laughing, she jumped
from foot to foot, swinging her head
like a lovely little puppy biting a shoe.
"I love you" she said
and I looked at her
lifting the hair that fell over her eyes
I replied
"I'm very Thirsty".
Oh the day when the sun hid,
Darkness rose, dancing in gloom
The leaves and flowers, are shed
Black roses had begun to bloom.

The Sun, high and bright,
Was not seen since the day.
Dweller of solar light,
Prepared sacrifices to pray.

But nil response they got,
And generations went by.
The youngster all forgot,
The ball of hope, above & high.

The sun was a forgotten tale,
None awaited his arrival.
Who still desired the scorching gale,
Were fanatics, in denial.
The "Sun" was gone,
In the middle of the night
The stars twinkle tonight
A treasure that sparkles
And with a shimmer so bright
They dance in the light
In beauty they've captured our dreams.

Evangeline, on the soulless night of February, I continue growing my broken wings. I remain sentimental, wasting my tears away. When I look at you, all I sense is the growing impatience that I will never be able to sit with you.

Even if I bloom with these wings and my graceful tears, I don't believe you will hear my silent pleas and whimsical, hopeful yearnings.

I am a tree with seeds of sadness buried deep in the earth. A rotting fruit of desires. I could never be as majestic as you, chère Evangeline. I am eloquently silent, with my lips tightly shut; I am a crumbling mountain, and madness slowly decapitates my light—but make it poetical.

Make my sadness profoundly graceful. Make my body arch like the slipper orchids. Make me a beautiful yet distant star, Evangeline.
princess and the frog was one of my favorite disney films, and I can't help but also wish on the evening star, evangeline, in hopes my wishes will come true too.

The Star of Hope has died,
But there is no reason to cry:
Beautiful stars leave stunning Nebulae.

You are my love eternal
I may be tired as I am more nocturnal
       But it is all worthwhile
Because I get to see your smile
My starlight love eternal
This short poem I spontaneously wrote for my girlfriend, whom I cherish dearly, and who at this point in time lives several timezones earlier than me.
