This is true
My
O·rig·i·nal·i·ty
Being that
It can-not be
Fused
Nor co-pied
The imprint
That was
Designed
Just
For me

Not knowing, where the universe begins
Or how far, the darkness extends
Can one know, where it actually ends

I caught a glimpse of my hands in the reflection of a window
And thought they were my mother’s.
I’m wearing gloves from now on.

You could tell me all
the things that make me feel at ease

Show me things you want me to see,
In a way I can understand.
Show me things you want me to see,
Show me what is your plan.
Short poem
Chloe M Teng Aug 2019
I wonder
What it's like to see nothing and yet
Walking so confidently like you did
The other day.

Perhaps you didn't notice me,
Which is good;
I was just behind
Staring at you counting
The number of dents
On the pavement
And feeling for the sharp corners, and
Wondering
if you were actually blind.

How were you so good at it?

Sorry I doubted you.
I have a weariness
For people
With black tinted sunglasses.

Let me breathe your breath
And see your visions
Let me feel your pain
And hear your cries
Let me hold you by the hand, guiding you each day
Let these very eyes of yours be mine;
Let me see through them
Introduce me to your world
For I yearn to know you
Just as I know myself
Let me in
Let me understand
Sometimes, we need to open up to people, the right kind of people. We sometimes need to cry out for our voices to be heard.  And  until people open up to us, we find it hard to understand why they do the things they do. Let your breath be theirs and theirs, yours.
