just trying to deal with some things
sitting here at 3am
hunched by the sink
lost in my thoughts
tossing, turning all night long
my head, my heart, it's all a mess
something's wrong...
my body is aching
my heart is drowning
my stomach is churning
head spinning
an emotional fever
spreading like wildfire
longhand, short
so indecisive
spelling abhorrent
i am a mess
i need the moon
but it has been cloudy
lately
not an ounce of moonlight
seeping through...
i miss the silver shine
i need a dose, soon
i can't breathe...
i should sleep.

i wrote this in my notebook while i was crying so just for reference, my spelling in the original was horrible, hence the sentence in the poem.

Don't let the dirt of despair
dull your shine, little diamond.
God's been good to you, too.
Who said it was over?
Who told you it'd always
be like this?
Who said you're a toxic person?
And how do they know?
They don't.
Shake those expectations.
Dance in the rain.
Shine in the dirt.
Do you, diamond.
Dopeless hope fiend

For there are no words
That can describe you

You love so deep
And so pure

You make things so simple
Yet so beautifully complicated

But....

Behind your shine  is a world full of dark

Long nights of you crying
Longing for a purpose

But, even though your broken
and cracked
The light still shines through the pain
From your beautiful soul
Sometimes the happiest and purest people are the most broken

The universe appears to be in complete decline

Surrendering the matter before the storm

Lord, grant me mercy

Before I vanish,
Make me shine

My lovely sun, remember this:
No matter how many times
the clouds attempt to smother your light,
you will never fail to shine through them
You are amazing!
If the only birds allowed to sing
Were the birds that sang the best
I’d find our woods a gloomy place
For I’d miss the songs of the rest

If all the plants across the world
Were those of most vibrant red
I’d ache for the varied colors
Which we now enjoy instead

And so it is with people too
We each have our inner light
My light may not be brightest
But still it dispels the night

My talents, gifts, and powers
Bring increased life to all I know
I’ll always let my light shine forth
So prosperity to all will flow

Many years ago I heard the phrase, “If the only birds in the forests that sang in the forest were the ones that sang best, the forests would be very quiet.”  That one saying has really helped me to enjoy singing, and I sing every day!  I'm not the best, but I can still sing and it brings happiness to my life.  As I was pondering about that, I thought, “I could write a poem about that”
I try to kiss
she says no, please

she says for virus
I say but I am confident

I do not have any doubt
that if that ****** approached

and sees that glimmering
he would be surrendered

he fell in problems
and will be pass

no, no stay for looking at brightness
the shine at your face
the virus got so horror and we must pray to God to help us and that a great dream and I hope the virus goes wide

It's funny how stars are so hot
But only come out when it's cold.
They're millions of miles away
But shine as bright as gold.
They look like they're so close together but they're actually worlds apart.
it's funny how we always aspire to reach for the stars
When the way they live their life
Is so similar to ours.

It’s stereotypically said
that poets see beauty in everything.

Everything as in
the many ups and downs that life throws.

To a certain extent
it can be a true.

But, sometimes
beauty itself can be hidden.

And I wish to not find it.

Then it just shows up.

I see the lights of beauty
show up when I don’t want to see it.

It’s as if it forces its way
to be in plain sight,
to show off in my face.

Beauty shines of optimism.

This lets me know that
whatever I am going through
it will be overcome.
