Old man soaked in his *****
Dripping down his pants
Down the flight of stairs
His stare blurry
Past the point of no return, past his dignity
Drowned humanity
Went down with his only little
baby girl now a mother
Not any more
Slain by the hand of her children's father...
I played with them
She was kind and pretty
He was a brute
Shallow and dangerous...

I never saw them again
Kids stayed with the dad
Old man needed his space to fall apart
Police didn't play the part
I am still sick only thinking about
What life some people have to face

You're asking why the comfort doesn't
Keep away the angst?
They're still with me
Memories of all the broken people
I had a chance to meet
They never fade
That memory composed my purpose
Without it I don't exist at all
Just some childhood memories that made me chose my path in life. I am getting a bit crazed being out of work for a couple of months

“Begin each day as if it were on purpose.”
When I first said hello
It was seriously nervous
I didn’t know what to do
No idea what to say
I pressed the button on my phone
And set up my hands to pray
I text you every morning
What could possibly go wrong?
Even with your written word
You make my heart sing a song
I begin each day with you
And I no longer feel worthless
You make everything bright and new
With your words you caress
I feel that you care
And I wish I was there
The distance doesn’t care
That we’d make the perfect pair
So we’ll just have to push through
Keep going against the grain
People might think it taboo
But without you there’s only pain
I’ll see you someday
I’ll reach out and touch you
We’ll tell stories of this stray
And the two who liked blue
Calling my angel for the first time <3

What do you do* when you've lost your purpose?
Stay hidden behind closed doors or rise to the surface?
What do you do when you've given everything and all?
Give up and fail or do you stand up to redeem your fall?
What do you do when you have lost more than your heart?
Put up your walls and stay alone or open up to a new start?

Either choice is always yours to make
My advice is to try again and make a few mistakes
Don't let this world turn you dark and fake
Stand up for what you believe in at all stakes
Ignore the negativity and rise to your fate
Again, what do you do when the world turns blank??

The Choice  *is always yours, my friend.
I'm gonna find my purpose again

I'm looking for the midnight to come and then
Take me away from this dreadful planet
Watching my sorrows and feelings flutter into
Dust and taking lust and turning it against my
Soul as it makes its way to my heart of what use
To be,
I'll always wanna get rid of me,
Won't save myself for this energy,
Should I have a shaved head and confidence as big
As what I use to be,
Won't let life get the best of me,
Please! I don't need your sympathy,
Talking to these strangers in my head like I've known
Them for years discussing everything my life had to offer
Embedding me with lies to keep me falling in the dark
Of an abyss fit for a failure in life that believes in love
And bleeds like y'all and stands up but sometimes,
May have gotten out of line a few times,
You wouldn't have a life if you just took mine,
Minding my business is not really a crime,
Anxiety ***** and we lose track of time,
Needed love , and you stood me up its alright,
The valley of the diamonds sincerely arise,
Of broken glass in your hand,
Now your bleeding,
That's what you get for deceiving.

I do not write poetry
to please and delight
forever the purpose shall be
to tame my bleeding aching heart.

Whatever has been Divinely said and done is never in vain
because it has a higher purpose which results in our gain.

Suppose that I wasn't meant to be here
That I wasn't meant to go the places that I gone
That I wasn't meant to do the things that I've done
that I wasn't meant to be me

Supose that I was destined to be someone else
That my spirit was fated for something else
That who I am and who I should be are two different things

Suppose that when souls were being assigned a purpose and a life
I looked at my future
and wasn't satisfied
And I saw another life
and saw a deeper meaning and purpose

Suppose that within the life I saw many people who would need my help
I saw a woman who was told by the doctors that she couldn't have any children
I saw child who had lost their mother
I saw a woman who had lost a father and sister
I saw a child whow needed a guidence

Suppose that when I saw these things
I knew what I had to do
I had to defy fate
Create a new destiny
Be that child
Be that mother
That sister
That guide
Be me

Suppose that these things are true
And is evident within those sad moments where I feel like I don't belong here
And in those happy moments when I feel that the life I'm living is something precious that I had to steal

Spent a lifetime

searching for a purpose

Only to figure

That the purpose

For a life time

Would be to **make one

Worth pursuing
~We spend a life time asking the same question a million times, in a million different ways yet the outcome is always the same

So here's the lesson

~instead of looking for life's purpose how about we lead a life with purpose and strive after something we believe is worthwhile

These lips have lost their purpose
Have shed their puckered sheen
And the time spent without her
Has left them bare and clean

These lips have had their moment
Their dew has up and left
And cracked the red the evening has
To leave the smile bereft

And though her flower perfume
Still clouds about this cheek
I don't know what lips can be
Without her name to speak

For all is lost without her
Mere smoke from flames within
My lips have lost their meaning
And now are cold and thin.
One of those 'sudden inspiration' poems. It's nice to come back to rhyming
