If I were a mermaid,
I'd float out to sea.
If I were a mermaid,
I'd feel bad for me.
The oceans are scorching,
and we can agree
that the death toll is rising,
no hyperbole.
If I were a mermaid,
I'd beg you to see
there's no hope for your land
if you can't save me.
I fear that these
issues will ever be
plaguing this Earth
for eternity.

depression is such a pain
throwing curve ***** of
downfalls in the membrane
my written words has pulled me
from the pits  of the brains pollution
and this I know to be a true fact indeed
"Writing" is the best cleaning  solution

the words of judgement
spurring out of your mouth
doesn't hurt the one being judged
the way it reveals your insecurities
there is an illustration with this, but I can't place it here. you can check it out on my instagram or Facebook page
There's no Pokémon
here in Rio, much like our
clean drinking water.

Roads stretch out, a lattice of scars etched into the land.
Asphalt and Tarmac rivers, crawling with lines of ***** machines.
Sectioning off nature.
I cannot hear the birds anymore.

A countryside blistered with towns, villages.
The sores of sprawling cities scattered across the earth,
Polluting the peace.
I cannot see the stars anymore.

Great factories spewing toxic smog,
Whilst mechanical beasts tear into the veins of the planet,
Ripping apart the landscape.
We are not blameless anymore.

We have ***** our world,
leaving in our wake:
War torn nations,
Plagued by starvation,
Human 'civilization'.
In progress. Any thoughts on improvement?
whether sweet or salty
it is the mother of life

no matter whether you are
    Darwinist or Creationist
water as a source of our existence
    you cannot deny

so, what do we do
with this essential gift of nature
except drink it and float on it?

we waste it, pollute it,
in general,
we simply don’t appreciate it

at least those of us
who live in the comfort zones
     of regular rainfall
     advanced sanitary installations
     and drinkable tap water

millions of others
depend on their lives
for water from the sky
    or from the sea

re-appreciating water
taking care of it
may save the lives
of our children

they are our future

My mind is blank
This is the third piece of paper
That I crumpled.

I don't know what to think.

I used to have faith in things
In humanity, in love.
But ****, life stings
I'm burning my trust in the stove.

I used to breathe slowly
Enjoying the fresh air
But now pollutants are killing me softly
The atmosphere's their lair.

Mother Earth is dying
Humans savaging
Doesn't anyone realize the link
If she dies, she'll bring along everything?

I used to feel young and free
Without hate, without despair.
But the world worries me
How long until we all start to care?
After I crumpled the paper, I realized how I was wasting resources. I was wasting trees. So I uncrumpled the paper and started writing :)
