Great people die,
Just like you and I.
We all came the same,
Naked, with a brain;
Walked, then talked,
We're all the same,
But great ones do it
With their brain.
Size doesn't matter.
You can be a pea brain,
Or a nit wit:
Why, if someone says,
You've half a brain;
That shouldn't be
Cause for shame.
You never know
Who's got half a brain:
It's been proven,
Sometimes half
Is greater than the whole.
Use what you got,
Live your fullest.

Say "hello!" to the little-orange friends, with them our mind extends; and further. Or is it...how far?
Please drive slow, crawling level with the wheels of the car. Look, it's that space, the "old place"; remembering that face. From her lips, my past, I trace.
Definitions tend to change. The way they are described sounds so strange. Oh, you fickle little words, or more so, you ink scribbles resembling flocks of birds.
I have been asked to descry meaning from you, from such language.  It's a clairvoyant mission that will only promise me anguish. My mortality,  my fears, all of the limits holding me shall be broken and  then finally, my own identity, I'll vanquish.

i throw my head back in laughter
daisy petals and rose thorns falling from it
she's powerful, they warn
and again, a mountain stream wanders by

i am none of these silly things you speak
my eyes ancient as the marble you eat upon
my tongue, a knife through your prize
a velvety spill of rich soil across my brow

The main landscape gardener is Mother Nature herself
and from time immemorial she has been working alone;
through wind, rain, hail and shine, even in the upheaval
of the earth and with the movement of the ocean waves.
She thus continuously works and does the only thing
of her vocation that she is qualified to do without any
notions of right or wrong and cause for regret but is
found to be blameworthy in the damage that she causes
unwittingly in going about doing what she has been
allotted to do through no real fault of her own volition
but in absolute and unwavering obedience to that infinite
power and intelligence pervading all of space and time.

a kind of cosmic static -
the background noise lurking behind everything since that fiery moment in which everything came to be.
human beings are the only beings with big enough ears and smart enough brains to hear it.
and it’s killing us.
it whispers about the space.
the vast, yawning emptiness that is 99.0000000000000000000058 percent of the universe
and how small and unimportant we are in the face of it.
the stars are deaf to the call of the void.
and all of the less arrogant animals simply don’t care.
but humanity is smart, and intelligence has lead to efficiency.
we’ve optimized and agricultured and technologized ourselves into a vast wealth of free time.
and in that free time we’ve taken up the hobby of thought; of navel gazing; of looking within and without.
and when we turned the rods and cones of our eyes inwards the void stared back. unflinching, unblinking. and it roared, and every one of us heard.
we try to block it out with our various vices but in the end they are all in vain.
we inhale glittering ivory dust, conflagrate various flora of every shape and size,
gulp down poisons like desert floors that have never seen a drop of rain, genuflect before effigies of deities of questionable existence, sing and dance, **** and **** and **** and steal and covet, all in search of a kind of purpose.
some soft cottony bliss to plug our ears to the roar of the void.
but we cannot stop it. the slow bleed of grains of sand out of the hourglasses of our lives is one wound we will never be able to heal.
for void thou art, and unto void thou shalt return.

There's nothing more romantic
          in my eyes
        Than holding your hand
   And talking about our lives
          Because in my mind
The only thing better than the fantasy
        Is the intimacy I feel
When it's just you and me
            *connecting

when you really want to help someone,
it shows

when you really want to listen to people,
they know it

when you really want to understand what people actually said
instead of trying to argue (and win that argument),
they can feel it

when you really want to put aside any personal problems that you have
(cause people had nothing to do with it, they did nothing wrong to you)
and communicate well,
they acknowledge how mature you are

when you really don't want to hurt anyone on purpose,
you'll learn how to think before you spit out a word

and they will learn that  **.heart.matters.
sometimes people only think about IQ and not EQ, and they don't realize how hurtful their words can be
