Jesus' baby May 8
Blank as snow,
my mind has resigned—
Not from frail nerves,
but from the loss of momentum.

My fingers wrestle with the pen,
my hand clings to the laptop.
Open the tap—
Let even a drop fall.

Inspire me,
that I might inspire others.

Little by little,
a mighty ocean will stir,
erupting—
Breaking every bound.

Tap the keys, O hand.
Sketch the thoughts, dear fingers.
Just let the mind ignite—
Rome will be built, for sure.

Not unaliving,
but ensuering,
a cure will be found.

Being in the mind?
Feeling behind.

Just going beyond!
Feeling cried.

My Angel, My Muse
A monument to my life
My inspiration
😮‍💨😮‍💨
Seeking embrace of the azure expanse,
A dreamer sought warmth, the value of trance.
With wings of hope, towards the sun he soared,
Seeking a freedom so deeply ignored.

Ambition seen sinister, but yet, of youth's call.
To rise above, and never to fall.
The heavens wept, for they knew his price.
For a flight too close to their own paradise.

The mournful sea watched, as his feathers deveined.
Embracing a dare, courage unrestrained.
A tale not of folly, but of a spirit so free.
A reminder of hope against fragility

In his descent, I see my reflection.
A shared desire of unbridled direction.
Not a tale sinister, nor of scorned flight,
But a hymn to the ones still chasing the light.

You are in the bathroom,
Fixing your hair the way you like it.

The steam from your shower
is setting into the bedroom now.
I can smell your shampoo.

The skylight casting an early summer glow
across the tiny water droplets speckling your skin
makes you look studded with rhinestone.

The subtle shifting of your weight
creates a curve in your side
and as you drop your hip and bend your knee,
I think for a moment,
that you look like art.

That moments like these are what inspire
The greatest artists in the world.

That I might be like them
if you were my subject,
But I am too busy loving you
To lift a paintbrush.
You’re my muse.
It occurs, the brilliant light
Pulses once to blight the sight
Backflash lit in memory seared
Fades to fondest wish endeared
I search through leafs of carefree past
In scribbled lines left half undone
For wisdoms sage to point the path
Back to where it first begun
My one last chance to grip the quill
And spin the trials of venture bold
A gift to those that follow still
By spinning folly into gold
I've glimpsed the muse but ever on
Whomever reads the words I've drawn
Can only see the dimmer hues
Of inspirations fete subdued
Reflected in the oft tried guise
And only in what dreams surmise
To catch the softly fleeting knell
Of muses boldly colored spell

In a world where power is the
                    government’s rule,
       A boy receives a gift—a power to
                        change it all.
The girl who grants it, a force beyond
                             control,
Her gift will shape the future, but at a
                       cost she’ll call.

"To **** you...
Was that my fate?"
He questions, seeing
The final state.
"You lived just to die?"
He asks in pain.
                                        Yes, my life was
                                         never plain.
"Then why give me
This cursed power?"
                                        To face the truth
                                       In this final hour.
                                       In this world,
                             where ends must start,
                      Life exists to break hearts.
"But life's more
Than just an end!"
It's moments, feelings-
Just to mend.
                                     "No!" She says,
                                 "death's part of light,
                                   Without it shadows
                                    Fill the night."
"You think it's
Wordplay!"
He says with fire,
"Why are we born,
If not to aspire?".
                                   She smiles softly,
                                   Her truth untold:
                                 "Hope and meaning-
                                   Flickers bold.
                                   To live for death
                                   seems too cold,
                                 But without the end,
                                  Life grows old."
"No, I won't accept
This fate!"
He shouts, feeling
The weight.
                                 "If you believe in
                                  what's true,
                                  Take my life, it's
                                  Left to you.
                                  Strike me down,
                                  and you will gain,
                                  Change this world
                                  From joy to pain."
But then he spoke
With his eyes so deep,
Words that woke her
Up from sleep:
"You don't have to die
To be free,
Your the reason
I still breathe."
                                  Her gaze softened,
                                  A tear fell free-
                                  In that moment,
                                  She chose to be.
Ahhh, what a drag.
Still, it’s an incomplete piece.
Hope you like it.

So you’ve got troubles
That doesn’t make you unique
I know there are times
When you start to feel weak
You’ve got to face them
You can’t just wish them away
Talk to each other
Or it will fade away
Don’t leave each other guessing
Stop playing your games
Or you might find yourself feeling lonely
And you’ll be searching aimlessly

Stand Tall; Don’t you take a fall
Let the music rock your soul
When life gets you down bounce back for more
Stand Proud; say it out loud
No one and nothing can keep you down
Prove it to me the next time I see you around

Working together
You can accomplish great things
Sharing your secrets
Brings you security
Trust in each other
If you truly believe
You’ll find your path
To all of your dreams
Problems will always stand in your way
Stick together; fight them away
If you try to fight them yourself
You may find her walking with someone else

Stand Tall; Don’t you take a fall
Let the music rock your soul
When life gets you down bounce back for more
Stand Proud; say it out loud
No one and nothing can keep you down
Prove it to me the next time I see you around

If situations pull you apart
Stick together; keep her close to your heart
You better find a way to make a new start

Stand Tall; Don’t you take a fall
Let the music rock your soul
When life gets you down bounce back for more
Stand Proud; say it out loud
No one and nothing can keep you down
Prove it to me the next time I see you around
