three inches --
that's how far away you are from a corset that cinches.

so close, yet so far...
you aren't up to standards, you aren't up to par.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder --
hell, you'll be even more grotesque as you get older.

words cut deeply from those you care for...
i'm sorry that i can't be your perfect little *****.
sorry my poetry has been so negative lately.

She was the fool
Who danced so wildly
to tunes that were played
by the man of sociaties,
who pray on her love,
and borrowed insecurities,
but returning them soon.
leaving her lost and in pain,
And filled with regrets,
of the gift she had traded
for a single nights pleasure
with men who had wive's
and girls that were bored.
Till she was left all alone
with a burden on her soul,
Desires in her heart,
but damaged beyond that wich one could repair.
-bi sexuality makes twice the curse of a womans insecurities.

Born Insecure, ever chasing perfection.
Never quite skinny enough,
Never quite pretty enough,
her soul was the purest,
This fact would elude her.
Her form was her weakness,
This fact would consume her.
Until the day had come,
when a breathe she could not draw,
as the Portrait on her arms,
had Spilled all her ink.
- Its an ugly world we live in, where the parameters of beauty are controlled by the ugliest among us

With gentle fingers she molded the clay
Every line etched in was deliberate
Two eyes, a nose, a mouth
A face slowly began to form.

A warm smile, a youthful glow
Her creation was complete
She sent it off into the world,
Free to love and learn

The little person lived a great life
Yet something was never right
The nose, the eyes, the arms
An issue would be found

She heard the clay’s prayers to her
“Why did you make me this way?”
Golden streams fell from the goddess
Her creations never loved her back
I am not religious but sometimes writing like this can be fun. I hope this makes sense

A glance at her face is all it takes
Can ruin her entire day
Everyday she feels ugly
Slowly killing her inside
Dear God a clear skin, she begged
She just wants to feel pretty

If my words are remembered
That’s all I need
Fame and money are ideals created by the insecure
So away the malice, envy and greed
Cause on this side the sun shines even when the trees hide your beauty
Soothing breeze leaves one to wonder if in fact life is meant to be an ongoing trend of aloofness
But aloof I’ll be
And when the breeze blows me away I hope my words are all you need
Or maybe fame and money aren’t too bad after all
Maybe that way my words will be the roots to your happiness
I guess you can say I’m insecure

If only he'd notice me.
If only he'd look my way.
If only he'd look past my insecurities,
And be mine one day.
His beauty astounds me,
makes me think twice.
And when those gorgeous eyes meet mine,
It only makes me think thrice.
About why I bother,
When he's clearly hotter.
And worth more than the love of a dreaming girl.

i will need to learn
how to stop hurting
over the things
that i will never be

it is hard sometimes
for wounds to heal
when you keep
picking at them

and i am all wounds
and no scars
open and burning
festering with decay

i have tried so hard
to be the type
that is bright
and radiant with light

i never realized
how much i have ached
for something
that cannot be

a life that is spent
wasted on inadequacy
i will never learn
how to be worthy
feeling very inadequate so here's an inadequate poem to express how inadequate i feel

Insecurity
Lurking "smile-for-me" bullies
Mudslinging repose
a senryu
(similar to haiku)
