A face at the window
A whisper from a crack
Ghoulish white eyes that stare from the woods
A knock from the cupboard door
Aching moans of a lost soul in a cave
Something lying at the bottom of a pool
White and shining unmoving and alone
Hanging maidens of pale beauty dangle
While cold mouldy men of newfound dread crawl
Old sodden coffins lining up a shore
Blowed out candles from the wind off the moor
Near large holes of blackness
Under beds of torn mattress
Hearing sighs of the dead
Leaves nothing left unsaid
Get Out Of My Head

one
on summer nights, all nights, you can hear the sounds of fiddles and tambourines, rustling among willow trees and fireflies.
your dog gives a growl and thumps his tail.
when the moon is out, you fight the urge to follow the sound into the forest.

When you turned away from me,
I turned too walking back on.
The saddest thing of all time,
The secrets told between us.
It was then all I could see,
This was a battle not won.
I ask myself even why,
We have this love not so bold.
For now I know I must be,
Not your lover and no one.
Keep on walking with a sigh,
Knowing yourself to grow old.
Time not on your side with glee,
Knowing now I’m far and gone.
Inspired by Sam Smith’s recent “Too Good at Goodbyes,” I couldn’t help but to pump this love song out. And coming across a familiar...

You
If only I had the chance to kiss you,
At the times even I felt your own breath.
Don't know you now much as others know you,
Past of our youth shows your grand innocence.
You, the soul of our time passing us on.
The youth and vigor of life shows it all,
The smiles you shared standing with us tall.
You, the soul heir of this time and of joy,
Left now this young man a world to rejoice.
Where to now our paths mended on by you,
Crossing by our paths always lived and loved?
A shinning jewel in the rough to unfold,
Found like nothing before ever to shine.
You - forever cherished - remembered - you.
For a lost friend who has always been themselves.

He could hear the death in silence,
The constant ringing in his ear.
He could hear the death in silence,
The constant lingering is near.
Imagine stopping forever,
This is what he could always hear.
Imagine not even waking,
This is what he could always fear.
So deep the silence with the death,
Blackened and pitched for him only.
It an embarking to all end.
So darkened and ditched knowingly,
What an end of sound to begin.
Fearing death, but at the same time accepting it.

The magic of madness has been cast.
I'm being pulled apart by the seams,
stumbling upon the unfound door
of my flaming Wonderland.
Some doors aren't meant to be opened...

I held your heart in my hand,
Held it aloft beneath the moons glint,
Squeezing it sponge like
Until it oozed deep red rain,
Tingeing the clouds
Scarlet to crimson, ruby to blood.

The harder I squeezed
The more your heart emptied,
Trickling rivulets that
Traced the map of veins in my arm,
Soaking into my shirt,
White linen turning deceptively black
Beneath a dark sky.

I felt your heart pulsating,
Reacting against my grasp,
Forcing my clawed fingers to flat open palm,
My hold forcefully released.
I thought it would fall
And lie beating but beaten on the ground.
Instead, it rose unaided,
Elevated enough to obscure the cold moon,
Pulsating, vibrating, transforming,
Until it became the moon itself
And turned the sky black-red.

And now I hide within the bleak woods,
I feel your pinching hold,
Your tightening clench,
And I feel your gravitational pull,
Crashing me like a wave
Against the jagged rocks
Of what remains of us.
