We are explosive.
Two sticks of dynamite waiting for the match.
Just one whisper of a spark and we'll go,
Dying to impersonate the stars
Like fireworks in the night.

Fire, you and I
But different, if you know where to look.

Flames of summer
You are wild and destructive,
Spreading yourself too thin
Like wildfires in the drought
Roaring challenges at the sun.
But in the cricket-filled cool nights,
Bringing comfort and memories to the young at heart
Taming yourself for a time beneath stars that bear my sign
Burning out in the darkness before sunrise
Ready to return at first spark.

Pyre of winter,
Tamed by the frost and wind
Leaning on hearths for strength
Keeping vigil in the long night
Raging against dark and dusk and death
Yearning for what was lost in the fall
Waiting for the rebirth of spring
Sending up grey prayers to stars that bear your sign

Fire, you and I.
Born to stars of flame
Raging, roaring, writhing
At the whim of the wind
Waiting
For the spark.
A Leo and a Sagittarius walk into a bar...

My left hand has resorted to pins and needles
Heels keep bouncing, won't stay down
Restless recklessness making my skin crawl
Like a live, exposed wire

I need to burn.

Razors and cigarettes, like magnets,
Calling my touch.
Like a sacred ritual,
I'd sacrifice myself for desire
Hopes and dreams be ******
I'd light that fire.

Let me burn.

I'd be the light on the coast,
Warning of the dangers below
Whispers in my sirensong
Beckoning you to harbor home
Sending up prayers in my smoke

Tie me to the pyre.
Strike the match.
Watch me burn.

Like a sunset
Nothing gold can stay.

God, this world is dying
The planet is on fire and everyone is crying
God, the world is burning, everything's on flames
The Earth is turning into Sun - infinite heat
God, this world is dying, and I will dance
As bodies turn to ashes, I will dance
God, the world is burning, and I will breathe
As everything is smoked away, and time is slowly fading out
God, this world is dying, let it die
Everything is dead now, nothing is alive
God, the world is burning, and I am standing here like ice
It's too late for anything now, there's nothing more to wish

Clouds of Ash
                      soot
                          cinders
smoother our lungs, and choke our souls

My blaze, once contained
                                          loving
                                                 warm
Erupted into something wild,
Something burning completely out of control.

Ive seared every inch of you to blisters
                                                                 to bleeding
                                                                              to exhaustion.

I took, unwaveringly so, to feed my flames,
to feed their insatiable destruction.

My love and passion, once demonstrated, turned
                                                     to madness
                                         to deafening
                                  to draining

Fire took ever inch of us.
I watch now helplessly as the Ash disintegrates
                 taking to the wind
                 dissolving in the air

The Earth, our foundation now lies scorched
                                                                      seared
                                                                               and baren.

I desperately pray for rain, or a mighty Phoenix
                                     ANYTHING to regenerate the beauty
                                                           the growth.
I desperately pray, for a second chance
                                                              from you.

I'm bursting into flames
Under your warm hands
And i'm kissing the sun,
When our lips are meeting.
The heat is melting our bodys
Until they are one together.
Our passion is burning us down
And is letting us rise from the dead.
More beautiful and better,
Existing as an other
Glorious sun.

Strike a match and you will get a flame
A flame always leads to fire
Where there is fire someone is likely to get burned
So be careful who you hit
It may take a few tries but a match always lights
And it always starts a fire
Now you don't see matches in the Burn Unit
So be careful who you strike
Because if you strike a match
You will go up in flames
Flames upon a plastic world
Take away what ugly truths lie beneath its skin
Unveiling what rotting minds forge
Upon the fragile births of a dreamworld
Far beyond the corruption and sin
Ground together so the greedy may gorge
No two flames are ever lit near
But on the rarest of days
The flames burns paths that cross
Igniting themselves to greater strengths
To eliminate what the greed filled world held dear
Showing old ways to untaught youth
To free their minds from frosts
And bring them, a more beautiful world.
We were a flame that was hard to stay lit
And i constantly questioned myself on most of it
It was all worth it, regardless of the time wasted
Youth is a silly thing
And i'm not that person anymore
Regardless if i still ask myself if i'm a human is besides the point
There was a dozen of gin joints
I could of ended up at
But this one was the most pristine
I'm favorable on trying new cuisine
Because i'm the poster adult for cheap thrills
I really don't like how high these prices are nowadays
Not everyone is rich, you know?
Good moments and good times is all i want bestowed
But even though we're confounded in our woes
I want us to always fight these fires with harsher fire

36 hours, my thoughts persist to keep me up at night.
That's how long the change took
But it feels like 3600 days
Or perhaps even years.
