A woman's loss,
is a male gained,
helpless to the grounds and its worms,
festering in bubbling oaths,
lay to rest the torments of yesteryear,
and arise the new army,
masked and ready,
for war.
One part feminist, two parts unstoppable.

//

if a woman
drops her clothing
and shows what is
too precious to
be shown even on
film,

she has her miranda rights,
her indecent exposure trials
and ever dollar used to bail her
out of a cold cell were they offered
her a hospital gown

but she also has the
eyes that follow her up
the street, asking, begging
to touch
and if that woman says no,
or says nothing
than the woman still has

control of what is done
to her body,
control of every hand that tries to
pry away her god-given
right to be safe in her own skin

//

if a girl decides to
wear a short shirt,
or fishnet tights,
or bright lipstick

that costs anywhere from ninety-nine cents
to ninety dollars,
and she applies it with a heavy hand,
like her mascara and eyeshadow,
then she is still

human, she is still
a valid human being
who does not deserve
your time and voice
to call her a ****
or say something along
the lines of

don't go out looking like that
or you'll get *****
but **** is never,
ever, ever
the fault of the victim

//

if a woman
or girl
decides to cover her hair,
to abide by her
religion, the religion that
held the hands of every woman
in her family,
from sister to great-great-great-great-great

grandmother
she is not a threat
to our country
she is a member of our society,
a valuable and beautiful one, at that
who's culture can guide us
to be even kinder
in the name of god

and if a woman
or girl
decides to long sleeves
and a high-necked top
with a long skirt
alongside her hijab,

she is not matronly,
she is modest,
and modest is as beautiful
as a gucci crop-top
or a pair of sky-high louboutins

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR

*there were men
who were there for us,
who fought for us,
and then now,
there is a man who will fight
us as we march,
so we need to be strong
and support each other,
remember the golden rule,
and know each of our gods
would want this for
our world
Inspired by Joe Biden.
The lipsticks I reference exist! Wet and Wild is ninety-nine cents. Christian Louboutin is ninety dollars.

It's crazy how the human race empathizes
We have to create imaginary relations to women, daughters, sisters and wives
It's crazy how we generate information into our database
From generation to generation, our thoughts are outdated
W e  n e e d  t o  d o  b e t t e r
To consider women as much more than ****** pleasures
W e  n e e d  t o  d o  b e t t e r
To recognize that without women, life cannot be birthed on Earth
And even if they can't provide life
And even if they chose to abstain from that path
There's no reason for you to disrupt the peace in their eyes
You just don't get to decide
Because women don't owe you anything
There's nothing in it for you, no feeling of entitlement
Women have the right to be considered as humans
And to live,
Free of your actions, your compliments and your comments

Eons from now
They’ll look back
On all these
Open secrets with regret.

'DON'T GRAB MY APPLE DUMPLINGS

OR MY SWEET CHERRY TWIST.

YOU'RE A LEWD, CRUDE DESPICABLE DUDE

AND A FAT MISOGYNIST.'

"HEY, I'M A BIG STAR AND CAVIAR

WITH MELONS ARE DELICIOUS.

IF GIRLS WON'T TRY MY PUMPKIN PIE

THEY'RE LESBIAN AND MALICIOUS."

'YOU'VE GOT A NASTY HABIT

AND IT MUST BE OVERCOME.

THAT'S MY LUNCH BOX DON'T YOU GRAB IT!'

SAID THE DONNA TO THE DON.

"YES, I'M A BIG STAR AND I'VE COME FAR

YOUR RAMBUTAN LOOKS DELICIOUS.

IF YOU WON'T TRY MY PECAN PIE

YOU'RE PREMENSTRUAL AND CAPRICIOUS."

'FORBIDDEN FRUIT'S RESTRICTED

SO EXERCISE RESTRAINT,

OR I'LL GRAB YOUR WALNUT CLUSTERS HARD

AND YOU'LL TURN BLUE AND FAINT.'

(If you're a bit slow then see below

and follow this helpful strategy.

Simply substitute any mention of fruit

with words from 'Reproductive Anatomy').

Sad thing
Is
Some of us
Don't even
Have to
Leave
Our house
To be
Sexualized

Try that one on for size, I don't to bash men I just want to do the equality.

i am not your baby.
i am not your plaything,
to look, to gawk, to touch.
i am not here for your eyes.
i am here for me.
this is my earth too,
our earth.
we are not subservient beings,
that you can bend,
like your own personal clay models.
we are here,
and being here is simple.
we make our own moves,
our own choices, without worrying
the impact of what you think. without you, we are important.
without you, we are independent.
without men,
women can choose.
we can exist freely in our earth,
as simply as you do.
idk i wrote this randomly bc a creepy guy made me feel uncomfortable

When the man on the corner gives you looks
While you're walking home from school
You will learn to shrink into yourself.

When the boys at school talk about your body
As if you're not sitting right there
You will act as if you've disappeared,
And when you come back
You will no longer know the difference between a compliment
And another degrading word.

When the person you trusted most,
The one who was supposed to save you,
Took the definition of respect
And replaced it with a sense of paranoia,
And a fear of human touch.
You will forget who you are.

Shrink.
Shrink.
Shrink.
The silence will taste bad on your tongue
As will the laughter in their mouths.
Shrink.
Shrink.
Shrink.
Until you no longer have a body made for love
Instead hate.
