Should I lie and or just be fine with it
when the black tie's just holds all big fat lies
lies that lie on the back spine of the man
lies that hold us down to the ***** ground

let my precious red flowers get stamped on
my voice disappears in the empty space
I cook I clean and don’t get time to look’s
This has gone on for ages women in small cages

The freedom to be and not to be done
How long will it be till I get ones?
A bird in a cage or out in the sun
Oh dear lord look how much were overcome

A seat at the table I must get one
Show others that power get us to move on

i was planted, nurtured
and gorged myself
on my mother's love, some sort of fertilizer

i grew, where and when
they thought i wouldn't
and i thrived

i bloomed
and i was beautiful
you cannot touch me

i wilted,
i fell down, but my daughters know what to do
but i will come back

my thorns will be remembered
alongside my beauty
but that doesn't matter anymore

you can cut my flowers down,
but you cannot keep spring
from coming

every time you teach her that masculinity is strength,
you put a nail in her newborn coffin.
because you have taught her that she is simply an extra to a man's story,
she will wander hopelessly trying to find that strength in men who will only give her half-truths.
she will endure pain because she is nothing but a weak willed woman.

every time you teach him that feminity is weakness,
you have tied the noose for his little neck.
because he will always put himself down because he should be a man not a boy and weakness just doesn't fit in that box,
he will never learn how crying is an artform.
he will forever be a boy.

so keep your bigoted ideologies inside and throw away the key,
because the greatest gift you could give to your darling is to be free.

for those who have spent many years questioning gender.

We Never Learned To Tell Time

We never learned to tell time because the clocks in our school were all broken.
There were kids desperate for a high, all in the bathroom smoking.
A football player grabbing a freshman's *** and telling her to chill....he was joking.
All the girls nowadays are into choking.
Our self worth based on all the time we never learned to tell that the guys spent talking about our *****.
The time spent cutting all of our classes
to go see the boy who thought we looked better without our glasses.
Time spent being humliated by him in front of the masses.
Beginning to lose ourself and thinking our self worth amounts to ****.
Thinking to ourself, "I must deserve to be hit."
Sweetie please remember, you're still just a kid
Nobody in high school feels like they fit
We're still learning to tell time on broken clocks
as misery and insecurity begins to knock
our set mentalities from society being a block
from the reality we live in that never ceases to shock

When I began writing this it was going to be a poem about being in love. After the first line, my pen flowed with a deeper meaning.

White Buffalo

So intense,
she is,
with her visions of saving the world,
she is,
a White Buffalo…

so when she expresses her lofty aspirations,
and she regrets her past oppressions,
she tells me that when she tells them,
her visions of saving the world,
they tell her she can’t fulfill them,

I tell her she can,
I tell her she can do anything she wishes,
because there is a significant difference,
between possibilities and probabilities,
and just because something is improbable it is not impossible,

honestly if she has visions to save the world,
she should pursue such honorable pursuits,

honestly,

don’t ever let anyone,
tell you you can’t do anything,
give no energy to the lethargic cynics,
don’t let other people’s broken dreams,
fracture the magical dreams you have,

you are,
a White Buffalo,
you are,
a medicine women,
you represent,
divine feminine energy,
you are a healer,
you with all your attributes,
are in a prefect position,
to overcome all oppressions,

please help,
help heal this planet,
help heal humanity,
from all the harm that Man has caused,
we need the healing power of Woman,

Man,
has done so much damage,
but not too much damage,
to not be able to reverse this curse,
let her heal this humanity that hurts,

holy Goddess,
hold me honest,
rest me upon your *****,
this world’s in trouble,
let’s make love platonic,

let’s create what they said we couldn’t,

wouldn’t,
it be great,
if we could,
take down the wooden stake,
that’s been used to crucify our Lord,

Lord,
this is,
all getting,
too intense,
to be ignored,

we need,
a woman leader,
because woman is the true healer,
and every man should bow before her,
I am ready to surrender my ego for sure,

no cure,
can come from the poison,
masculinity,
has been too intrusive,
with it’s ways that’ve been forced in,

without consent,
He’s impregnated hatred in this matrix,
created the meanest fetus,
then made her birth it no abortion,
consent,
is not meant to mean yes when it’s said through coercion,

stop ****** the world,
consent is not meant to mean yes when it’s said through coercion,

intensions,
bent,
we all want to find Hope,
we’re just not sure where Hope went,
this is all so incredibly intense,

So intense,
she is,
with her visions of saving the world,
she is,
