you
your head weighs heavy
on my shoulder,
as the feeling grows heavy
in my heart.
my stomach melts
at the sight of you,
twisting,
turning,
erupting.
a feeling so strong,
a constant string of emotions,
desires,
forbidden thoughts
in my dysfunctional brain.
it's wrong,
i know.
friendship shouldn't bring these feelings,
but they'll have to do.
because even though
i am in love with you,
i don't think you feel it too.
kind of a response to a song i love. you by dodie clark. i love sad poetry but i don't really have any inspo to have sad poetry (esp about relationships) but i thought of this while listening to that song.

i am not your baby.
i am not your plaything,
to look, to gawk, to touch.
i am not here for your eyes.
i am here for me.
this is my earth too,
our earth.
we are not subservient beings,
that you can bend,
like your own personal clay models.
we are here,
and being here is simple.
we make our own moves,
our own choices, without worrying
the impact of what you think. without you, we are important.
without you, we are independent.
without men,
women can choose.
we can exist freely in our earth,
as simply as you do.
idk i wrote this randomly bc a creepy guy made me feel uncomfortable

Lay me down in a field of yellow,
Watch the cotton clouds drift past.
Your finger slowly caresses my arm,
as I gaze into your green eyes.
As the sky fades to a deeper hue,
I realize that I'll never stop loving you.
Because when I'm with you,
We forget about everything for a moment,
And simply let
the time slip by.

Couples
happy, carefree
holding one another
loving each other tenderly
partners.
------------------------
Autumn
colorful, calm
leavings flowing peacefully
crunching softly below footsteps
harvest.

Kittens
innocent, soft
playfully pouncing toys
purring so delicately soft,
meows.

your auburn, red hair
flows like a dandelion seed
in the breezy air.
i usually **** at haikus, but i liked this one. :)

As we embrace,
your soft aroma fills the air.
It's comforting,
like a soft fleece blanket,
wrapped around you in the dead of winter.
So potent,
even when you disappear,
it somehow ...lingers.
Reminding me of what once was.
Reminding me of the perfection.
Reminding me of you.

I’d travel the world,
With nowhere to go,
By foot,
By plane,
Or maybe even a train.
Stopping at fast- paced cities,
And the quaintest of towns.
Aurora skylines,
Viridian plains,
Aquamarine sea ways,
Are just a few sights to see,
So why not travel the world with me?
