i thought i could breathe in deep waters
if i were brave enough to explore it;
then i realized that if i wanted to,
i should have been brave enough to hold my breath

fairytales lie,
we can't fly with pixie dust
nor breathe in waters with bravery
alone
listen to science or whatever

you sound like a dream
one that i've locked inside my head
the one with flying unicorns
and laser beams
and cotton candy trees
but the one with thunder and lightning
and a ring of flames
in the middle of a meadow
where the fires ate everything it touched
and spat out nothing but a blackened husk
it's the one where prince charming falls off his high horse
and into the abyss
the one where rapunzel chops off her hair
the one where mermaids exist to be feasted upon
by hungry sailors
you sound like a nightmare.

You started out as a stranger and with a little time and a whole lot of charm you became the prince that I had spent so much time searching for.
I told you I had kissed a lot of frogs and that I felt like the luckiest girl in the world for having had kissed my last frog.
You replied with a cheesy grin, and a never before seen shimmer in your eyes, that said “I finally found my princess”.
I believed you, never for a second thinking you were even capable of faking any words or feelings that you had spent so much time conveying to me.
You proved me wrong, over and over again and yet I continued to look for that shimmer in your eye-
ignoring your frog shaped mouth and all the warts that began to become more present with every passing day
You started out as a stranger and with a little time and a whole lot of charm you became the frog I had spent so much time trying to avoid.

Lying my bed thinking of you
In every hours
It feels like I'm stupid
Overthinking that could be happen
Just in fairytales

Having a Red ripe tomato in my cheeks
When I saw you looking at me
It's been a years I can't tell you
Because I'm afraid

I keep denying
When your friends asking
And they've saying that you love that girl
My eyes start watering
Hold it saying great

Be the prince of my heart
I'll be the princess of yours
We will have a happy ever after
Just in fairytales

a girl can dream
for her prince;
but fairy tales
just don't exist

I tell my secrets to children
in the form of fairy tales
A "Once upon a time," is enough
to quiet down their wails
and I spin stories as well as spiders
weaving webs that a lost child
must navigate the tangled trails
with cleverness and wit
sharper than any sword
more accurate than any arrow
I speak of children who questioned
the established path of rejection
and this misguided idea of reciprocity,
"You must suffer because it happened to me."
Because my blessing in life was not brute strength
but a clear mind and clever tongue.
I tell my secrets to children
so that they may grow smarter because of them.

What can I say, I like to share stories.

She was a wonderful fairytale.
.
.
.
With an unexpected plot twist.
Once upon a time,
Not so long ago,
Lived an unhappy girl
Living an unhappy life.

One day,
She fell down a hole.

              g,
She called for help.

No one answered.

The little girl was all alone now,
At the bottom of an endless pit.
Nothing to hope for,
Nothing to lose.

She first tried to help herself.
Finding twigs to build up.
But they were twigs,
And twigs snap.

Then, she tried to call for help.
Anybody passing by could hear her pleas.
But nobody cared,
And nobody came.

The little girl tried and tried,
She yelled for help and hurt herself.
She jumped high as Jack’s beanstalk.
Cried as loud as Hansel and Gretel.

Eventually,
She came to terms that she was alone.
Alone and done for,
She laid down on the cold rocks below her.

She reflected on herself.
Her happy ending wasn’t coming,
That’s for sure.
So what could she do?

As darkness slowly enveloped her,
She smiled grimly.
“I was done for from the start.
Unwanted and uncared for.”

“I hurt myself and starved myself,
Nobody listened.
I tried to make a scene.
I had tried everything.”

“Now,
I start as I began.
An unhappy girl
In an unhappy life.”
