Wither and die.
Strengthen and grow.
Remain constant.
Go with the flow.

Move with the times.
Change its course.
Be loved or loathed.
Return to its source.

Solve the problems.
Bring problems to solve.
Bring you joy.
Amend as we evolve.

shadows fall upon the rocks
all of which have known a former life
harvested from mountainside or valley depths
individual yet eerily uniform
cookie cutter shapes
from the breaking of stony appendages

withering weeds
scorched by rays of sun
that constantly disapprove of something
as simple as their existence
because they are not considered beautiful
by conventional standards

hope beyond hope
has passed them over
and they have nothing left to strive for,
left to mourn the loss of each other
one by one
until they are all gone

there was never secret history
that could not be uncovered
by the nature birthed
from the heaven of fire
brought into this world by divine intervention
of a God eternal

yet some creatures have become spiteful
with ideas of superiority
ostracizing those who are viewed as lesser
solely by their appearance
or the habits they have adopted
with no regards to the true being

the rocks have been broken
from who they once were
but the weeds continue to fight
for who they still are
and just like the weeds,
I will refuse to conform.
and in a world of darkness, I know who I am. inspired by works of Emerson.

Hanna to me is the  BEGINNING of an evolution,
She finds me the END(of her fervent seeking for long)
Many worlds (we knew) existed between us until then,
Willingly crunch to make a perfect ONE from the debris.

in every visible character man differs less from the higher apes,
than these do from the lower members of the same order of Primates
.

                                                                           Charles Darwin, 1871

The Other claims descent from apes
then acts like a violent monkey.
It pillages, it loots and rapes
performing as Satan’s flunkey.

Its actions bear the mark of Cain;
brandishing cameras, smashing things.
We feel its proto-human pain
yet dread the urban woe it brings.

It tries to justify, with words
its primal carnage, childish rage.
With anthropoid designs deferred
it struts the Darwinian stage.

The higher primate government
rewards them well in ripe bananas
for wrecking their environment
(jungle as well as savannas).

Their mate selection (naturally):
a semi-simian solution:
intercoursing sexually,
to hasten their evolution.

The wombs enlarge—they drop their young
then text their friends while getting high.
They swing from tree-tops, fling their dung,
while down below the humans sigh.

In a weary series of redundant repetition.
I feel less of a hearty player, but more of
a lethargic field whos reapings are to far from succession.
Evolution happened somewhere along the
way.
Somewhere along the way we forgot there's nothing more powerful than the verbosity of our name.

This planet orbits a yellow sun like ours.
It is in the Optimum Zone to support life.
Sure enough it has a wide variety of flora and fauna.
Highly intelligent life has evolved in its seas and oceans.
Its continents, however, are dominated by a species of primates.

Over the past 300 of the planet’s years they have developed
Some fairly high technology.
But they remain carnivores
Who regularly commit genocide.
They cut down swathes of natural forest
To grow chemically protected
Genetically modified nutrition-sources.
And they mine their planet empty
Of its mineral riches.
The planet’s ecosystem is being rapidly destroyed
By them.

Socially and psychologically they remain primitive.
Yet they possess the means to blow their world
To pieces.

With heavy heart I have to advise
We sign this planet
“No Entry”
For the foreseeable future.
“Forbidden” indeed.
A planet we call MW Orion 8478-3
That its natives call
That ever so common name:
“Earth”.

Not exactly poetry but point made I think.

Just because there are UFOs,
... a big bang,
... an Einstein,
... evil and death
Despite such questions,
Smart, even brilliant thinkers
Believe, just because...

I'm a free thinker, like they were,
So, I ask,
How many times did Jesus suffer and die
On other worlds to save the Universe?
After all, evil is everywhere,
And so are we, or them.
Oscar Wilde gave up his denial,
As did Wallace Stevens, Darwin and Camus;
And a host of other stars,
Relinquished their lifetimes of distrust
With a breath between the sheets;
With a whisper of repentence
Accepted the alpha and omega
Just because...

Sing a song fast or slow
Melody completes the flow
Strum guitar put on a show
Hit all notes high and low
***!!! You are dream
Voice of an Angel with a Devil's scream
***** mind you so clean
Oh so nice yet so mean
Tell me how you want this Dope?
Twisted how I slip the *****
Potent addictive most can't cope
Write you lyrics you can smoke
I am now a giving MAN
Hold my ego in my hand
Slips from grasp just like sand
Release me from the master plan
So I drift on my own
Carving out a heart from stone
Magic every day has grown
Flesh feels married to the bone
Adventure unravels mystery
Encounter different parts of me
Through eyes of wise begin to see
Means to elevate humanity
Truth on Earth we all are one..
Chilling on the block till Kingdom come
Radiate our talent like rays of Sun
We Sing a song far from done...

Mankind keeps evolving into complications like a pair of strings.

Retrace the waking mind
Retract the black steps
Back towards the first breath
Lips opened for first air
No memory exists there
Only a glimmering
A fraction of emotion
Then further back
The burst of light
The watery life
The swelling inside
The chicken becomes the egg
The egg becomes the chicken
Flesh of her flesh
Cycling back
And back to uncertain beginnings
If only we could see the truth
Peer deep into some sort of
Genetic or sonic remembrance
