i have traversed the galaxies through time,
i have glided on saturns rings,
i have swung from the sun's rays like vines,
and i have seen the brightest of stars ignite into space dust—
yet nothing the heavenly bodies
and all of the cosmos offered
could ever come close to the brightness of your being.
and perhaps some day,
the constellations will lead me to you.

darling, don't be light years away—
come into my universe.

You are my sun
You are my moon
You fill my world
With brightness, beauty and splendor
You give meaning to my existence
Proving that in these endless cosmos
I am not alone
May our heavenly bodies dance
Among the stars
Will you always stay close
And I will forever hold on

They say we have as many cells in our bodies as there are stars in existence.
We are each a walking, talking universe.

When I look in the mirror I see the tears have stained my eyes a different shade of blue.
It's the blue of newborn stars all those light years away.
My cheeks, red, are the color of the old stars. The ancients at the end of their reign.
It is the infinite, the vast, the cosmos as the act of mourning. But sometimes the universe is in an atom, the big things are in the mundane and the sadness comes at the small things.
The shoes in the hall, the towels folded a certain way, a sons bumped head.
Sparking tears of star dust and causing our universes to tremble.

We do not only mourn a human being but the death of universe .
We move in correlation
a human constellation
you are my infatuation
i shine at your affection
but in watery reflection
you're unsteady, an evasion
i reach out for your attention
receiving only your impatience,
my sun, whats your obsession
with comets in far directions
am i not your one exception,
your moon, your connection?
but i move past your perception
fade with stars and imperfection
i ask you only one small question
was ours love, or a reaction?

I look up..into an blackening sky
and imagine a wonder as I fly..
gaze upon Cygnus the swan
and think of X-1 residing inside..

A spinning hole of fourteen solar mass
as black as the devils devious ***
enshrined in belts of orange and red
energy stolen from the star that has bled

Into its fierce companions consuming hole
gnawing on the sun like deaths own toll
blasting out jets like an angels glowing trumpet
swallowing stars like a streetwalker strumpet

Its partner a sapphire star seriously suffering
the loss of mass with no way of buffering
its pull into the black holes continual maul
matter tattered like an old beautiful shawl

six light years away from our Earth
as a massive star its original birth
as a super nova mass playing its role
shrank into a carnivorous black hole

X-1 sprawled as a devouring creation
cruising through the Cygnus constellation
event horizon spinning 800 times a second
even as it grasps and continues to beckon

deadly beauty dancing in an obsidian gown
wearing the stars matter as an elegant crown
energy it has stolen and devoured whole
lost forever to the mouth of a black hole

We are star stuff recycled over and over again.
You are a reflection and an injection
of all the stars, cosmic junk, and other stuff
that cluttered space. Your pale face
wears billions of years of history.
Your eyes that watch the heavens
were once that which burnt the brightest
in the heavens.
Your heart pulses like the particles in pulsars,
which now constitute the core of your being

So, when we die, when the sun collapses
and all our mass is ****** in and spewed out,
I hope my particles play with yours.
I hope our atoms give birth to a new universe.
Let our being be together in purple clouds
that cross the cosmos singing song of static
in infinity
swirling in a universal dance.
Let me orbit you as my heart is want to do;
Even, if your molecules would rather
orbit another.
Graff1980 Aug 2016
The pulsars flash in space.
Hydrogen bombs explode
Sending waves to warm my face
Light to make the day
An unintended consequence
A thought of hope and beauty
Warmth on my skin
Sparkling pools
Reflect old memories
Who I was
Is not who I am
And I can always be better
A seeker swimming
Barely floating
Almost drowning
Always getting wetter
Stuck in the thick of quick thoughts
Rising faster than ocean tides
Dancing on the edge of death
Barely a breaths distance away from
Insight or despair
Today I am alive
I am alive
I am alive
******* it is great
To be alive

One small moment
can be so infinite,
in vibrations grand
as I watch the universe
                burst forth and expand
I sit upon the desert's ground
feeling the abundance
                     of Life, abound
How it envelopes me
          and takes me in
as I become one
with the cosmos,
           stars exploding within
It swallows me whole
into vastness so sacred
for we are all enfolded
across ancient
        frames of time
our condition vulnerable,
                 souls naked
looking out into this
diamond-flecked magnitude
in crystalline,
                   sublime
For inside that far away,
milky density
of celestial spheres
we are part of the now
part of the here
        and, as the firmament
continues to move
my starry-eyed soul
        begins to groove
******* state
from meteor's flash
tranjectory arcs
in a second's bright dash
A miracle of
cosmic magic unfolds
before our very eyes---
a gift to behold,
            a spiritual prize
and as we hold our breath
from meteorite to star
I think about this
concept of far
ponder upon the waves of space
                                     and time:
an axis of fine-woven threads
                                that binds
and know that under
these spark-induced skies
our journeys fuse
             our hearts,
                   our eyes
Our spirits the
reflection of comets' haze
our dance of
shooting stars,
             ablaze
After witnessing the Perseid meteorite shower ...

Only the universe loves me.

The wind’s gonna blow my spirit up into the sky.

So, I can give the stars a hug.

Cosmic kisses on my face.  Ripping my skin apart.

The laws of physics are really going to break my heart.

Our planet is like an island in an ocean
We are stranded here all alone
Looking at the stars for a solution
I am sending out: Save Our Souls

Who ever comes on to our island
Stays with us until it's time to leave
They go out on a search of mainland
But that is not the reason that we grieve

They are never coming back the ocean took them
And that is just the way that it has always been
I Hope that in the end they will fulfill the mission
To find new home that none of us have ever seen
