Something terrible has happened to the entire world, we've lost Christopher Lee.
He was Count Dracula and he was also Saruman in The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
He starred as Francisco Scaramanga in a James Bond film and as Lord Summerisle in The Wicker Man.
He believed that his greatest performance was as Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of modern Pakistan.

He starred in two Star Wars movies as Count Dooku.
He was a talented actor, a singer and an author too.
Sadly, this fantastic thespian has died at the age of ninety-three.
People are shedding tears as we say goodbye to Christopher Lee.
Dedicated to Christopher Lee who died on June 7, 2015.

Your life was in peril nineteen years ago when you died of a heart attack.
You've been dead for many years and sadly, you will not be coming back.
You starred as the third Doctor in Doctor Who.
That TV show became much better because of you.
You starred as the Doctor from 1970 to 1974.
People were sad when you quit because you wouldn't be the Doctor anymore.
When I ordered a Doctor Who episode that you starred in, you were still alive.
But when I received it ten days later, people were sad because you didn't survive.
Besides being the Doctor, you had many other acting roles during your fabulous career.
You haven't been forgotten even though you've been dead for nearly twenty years.
Dedicated to Jon Pertwee who died at the age of 76 on May 20, 1996.

She was very cute with her curly hair and dimples.
The lady who I'm speaking of was Shirley Temple.
She starred in Curly Top and Stand Up And Cheer.
She starred in 60 films during her fabulous career.
It was so sad and tragic when she died in February of 2014.
She was the biggest child star that the world has ever seen.
Dedicated to Shirley Temple who died at the age of 85 on February 10, 2014.

When you were dead in Firecreek, it looked real.
That was brilliant acting and it took a lot of skill.
But sadly, now you're also dead in real life.
It has devastated your kids and your wife.

You were rich and famous but it didn't make you become a snob.
Everything you touched turned to gold, you always did a good job.
You were Jim Lindsey, Jeff Myrtlebank and Rosco Coltrane too.
Now you're in Heaven with Uncle Jesse, Boss Hogg and Lulu.
Dedicated to James Best (1926-2015) who died on April 6, 2015.

You starred in Worzel Gummidge with Jon Pertwee.
Sadly, you died in 2001 at the age of thirty-three.
You starred in Four Weddings and a Funeral and sadly, you had a funeral of your own.
You were one of the greatest actresses that Great Britain has ever known.

You also starred in Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit.
People loved you because you were sweet and cute.
You died over a decade ago of an acute asthma attack.
Sadly, you passed away and you won't be coming back.
Dedicated to Charlotte Coleman (1968-2001) who died on November 14, 2001.

I was a tap dancer once
back in the day
I enjoyed myself rather much
until I fell down a hill
broke both my legs
awoke to much blood. Things
became quite unclear
So I had a couple of beers,
thought I'd make a couple of
friends.

People in this city
they leave you mid-conversation
Before you even get started
Look at your paralyzed talent,
see that you are not
well-guarded, and you fall on
your face.
You embrace their words.

When I was a kid
I became a tap dancer
for love. Those were the days
I could still feel
My skull fresh, new ideas
peeling out
Twirlings, stomping, toe-trappings, beats
poetries.
Tries and fails straight from
a bleeding heart--
Don't get me started on my legs
Once upon
they were there now they're gone
along with souls of shows of
audiences of happiness of
life of
everything I had known.

People in bustling cities
they leave you on your way
before they let you stay
Look at you paralyzed talent,
see that you are not
well-guarded, you lose a
good pace.
You embrace their eyes on your face.

Once upon I was a tap dancer now I'm gone
Meanwhile you better miss me
One of us is too blind to see
these artist's legs heal
Back in the day, I'd been a real steal
Now, lying here,
does it matter?
No, I still bled on the snow
I'm still very sorry
for what I've done to myself,
what I let them do to me
People are so kind
but they want so much
I climbed high, for them.
And I fell in spite of them.
Their cackles and Ahs had
stunted my growth
Limbs not strong enough to
make the voyage

By then
the love which marked my youth
had gone.

People of the lighted cities
they want you looking oh-so pretty
before you are fully renewed
Paralysis is going away,
so bring me back well-guarded, ready to fall on
my face only to rise again.
I embrace their participation in the routine.
One artist in particular has inspired me.
If you're a celebrity
For medications come to me
I have them all, come see, come see
I'm the devil in disguise

I sign prescriptions by the score
If you run out, I'll give you more
I'll bring your pills right to your door
I'm the devil in disguise

Dr. Robert, Feelgood too
Names I'm sure are known to you
If you're in need call you know who
I'm the devil in disguise

Uppers, Downers, oxy's....well
Imagine what is down in hell
I'll keep your secret, I won't tell
I'm the devil in disguise

Elvis called, and MJ too
They both liked pills in shades of blue
No one else does what I do
I'm the devil in disguise

It's up to you, which choice you make
I fulfill, and you....you take
I'm here all night, don't need a break
I'm the devil in disguise

If you're in need, well...I'll be there
You pay for service, and I care
I've got lots, and lots to share
I'm the devil in disguise

If you're mute, and lost your voice
You know I'm your only choice
I'll be right round in my Rolls Royce
I'm the devil in disguise

You'll end up dead, but I'll keep kicking
With pills and needles, stars keep sticking
I'm the doctor all the stars are picking
I'm the devil in disguise

I am the devil, that is true
I am around, that's not new
I'm known to them, but not to you
I'm their doctor...till they die.
Doing unto others
as we do with ourselves,
we manipulate
and conceal.

Power -- poorly understood,
absent autognosia --
seeks gratification
and little else.

Bewitching
and unscrupulous
hypnotic pageantry
holding sway.

A visceral magick
used cavalierly
by vampires
on the hunt.

Rapt in the Promise
of continuity,
the world
watches on.

WHY BOTHER LIVING
WHEN YOU CAN LIVE YOUR LIFE THROUGH OTHERS
WHO ARE ONLY TOO WILLING
TO POSTULATE, AND PUBLICATE
EVERY DETAIL OF THEIR FABULOUS EXISTENCE
INSISTENT
THAT YOU NEED TO SEE
THEIR SOULDS LAID BARE ON THEIR LATEST FEEDS
PRIVACY IS STRANGELY SKEWED
TO ALLOW EVERY RANDOM STALKER TO VIEW
INAPROPRIATELY INTIMATE MOMENTS
JUSTIFIED AS LONG AS YOU LEAVE COMMENTS
RE-AFFIRMING THE POPULARITY
OF THIER EGOS SELF MADE CELEBRITY.
EVEN THE AVERAGE JOE CAN POMP, PREEN
AND SIMPLY BE SEEN
BY ALL AND SUNDRY
TO BE SUCEEDING, WINNING, LIVING THE DREAM
BUT ONLY THE VETTED IMAGES WE PERMIT
ONCE PHOTOSHOPED AND EDITTED
AN ILLUSION WE STRIVE TO SUSTAIN
TO SHIELD US FROM THE MUNDANE
TRUTH OF OURSELVES OUTSIDE OF THIS SOCIAL NETWORK.

They took you as a child and robbed you of your life,

Now you’re somebody famous or a rock star’s wife.

Your pain is pleasure, somehow that makes perfect sense.

They **** your sad mind and shut down your defence.

Your soul is precious but you sold it to the dealer,

He was a ***** devil, a dream stealer.

Fed off your talents, packaged and threw you on a shelf.

You were exposed and couldn’t help yourself.

Made to strip naked for magazine covers,

The photoshopped expressions show you are not bothered.

Your drug dealer’s happy you have him on speed dial,

Hallucinating drugs are the devil’s gifts that make you smile.

Not everything that glitters is going to be gold,

But I’m guessing you were never told.

Now you’re drowning in self-hate,

In a race against your own fate.

You want to stop the clock,

All the noises must stop.

Now you’re dying, dying, dying, nearly dead.

You want  the voices to stop, but they increase instead.

Telling you what to wear and how you should live.

Your life is no longer a precious gift.

You’re on the dark side, a nightmare, a living curse.

And every day that passes it gets even worse.

As they grab you and play with your head,

Stick in some needles and make you happy instead.

Now you’re a pop star with your own unique style,

And even better than that is your fixed smile.

It’ll soon fade away and be replaced by side effects,

And you’ll start to remember, you never really forgot.

They will try to silence you, no matter what.

And now you’re working against the clock.

Fragmented mind, memories buried inside.

Traumatized to the core, your screams are ignored.

It’s all bottled inside, you have nowhere to hide.

You try to release the chains in which you are bound.

For that your reputation is beaten to the ground.

There’s a heavy price an individual must pay.

For every letter of truth that he must say.

So you’re either shot down, a bullet lodged in your head,

Or overdosed on pills and killed on your own bed.

You lived on the fast lane and died a tragic death.

Only remembered on your death day, just like the rest.

Many came before you and many still to come.

So you’re not that special really, just another one.

Just another star on this rollercoaster ride.

Shot into the sky, blinded by the spotlight.
