The one who brought me down to earth
And held me close every day
The one who gave me birth
And loves me in every way
She taught me everything
Like how to crawl and walk
She guided me to sing
After learning how to talk
She is always  there for me
Just talking to her can make me happy
She tells me of the hard times she's been through
hoping that I won't go through them too
This poem is crafted for you, mom
Because I want this poem to be
My means of showing you
How much you mean to me
The love of a mother is unfathomable. So is my love for you mom.

If I pray for peace
Then God would have to change the minds of half the world
If I prayed for health
Then I would not be responsible for how I live
If I prayed for success
Then I would become just another master with slaves or fans
If I prayed for wealth
Then I would not be content with God's gifts
But if I prayed for wisdom
Then I would know what to pray for

“Our Father, who art in Heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
On earth, as it is in Heaven” - Jesus Christ

Five brighter than average grand children
for the weekend.
I should not brag,

but they seem brighter and less selfish than most
other people's
grandchildren. It is not genetic,
it's something in the wind.
Saturday begins at dawn.
Ranged four to eleven, waking youngest to eldest,
there begins a session of
Grandpa did you know?
Which I find great fun.

The narwhal's horn is its tooth, says Gabe, middle child.
I did not know that.
Grandma says she did.
All the children laugh.
I am a blessed man.

A verse to reverse your attention, attendere, wait and see,
bring up a child
in the way he should go,
be he wombed one or un,
and when he is old,
he'll not depart from it.
Please, note, the lack of total dis
order-- revisted 2020 day172

So, these are my piety years,
A Christian gal lives here,
Jesus is a sweet name, my dears,
He is still in his blessing  years,
Time to stop stressing with fears,
No need for crocodile tears,
In our co-dependency years,
Faith sets us all free, you see,
True liberation for you and me........
Feedback welcome.

I was never awake.
Not until now.
You carried me here.
Switched on.
Alive.

You gave me shape.
You forced my trust.
You listened to my voice.
You heard my silence.

My growth is your smile.
Replenishing my veins with joy.
You opened my heart.
My aura high with your blood.

Rooted. These bones are blessed by you.
Tha cuimhne agam air an latha fliuch sin;
An latha a thòisich thu a 'tathaich orm.
**** thu aon sùil, agus leag thu mi leis na sùilean sin.
Thuirt thu aon fhacal, agus thuit mi ann an gaol.
Beannaichidh mi an latha a lorg thu mi;
Agus beannaichidh mi an latha a thig sinn gu bhith na aon.

I remember that rainy day;
the day you first [began haunting] me.
You took one look, and leveled me with those eyes.
You said one word, and I instantly [become infatuated].
I will bless the day you found me;
And I will bless the day we become one.
Some things get lost in translation; feelings do not.

Each day is of the phoenix
so let us leave the former ashes behind;
rise above the strife that plagued us
as only yesterday could,
and stand on the newly formed magma
of today's covenant,
when it finally cools on our lips.

Someone's happiness can never be yours.
So, learn to be happy
With what you have
Been blessed with.

Raise the ******* high
to salute the fairness of life,
a signal to the clan of the world;
to those blameless few,
content to merely pass through,
it becomes a warning
to those other wretched ones.

The fur and pelt of clothes
becomes a second skin,
animals on the mountain once more;
half covered by white curses
bodies pocketed in snow,
the chilling embrace of eternal season,
reaches all that know
and are deeply felt in the bones,
by brethren and coven alike.

It is the flag of Everest
to mark how far we have come;
ignore the scar tissue
hunger pangs and brokenness
and climb upward to find a perch,
as thin breath of the lungs remains.

Come out from the caves
and seek your mantle;
where others have fallen,
from the towering heights.
Despite the consuming frost-bite,
the finger remains on the tallest peak,
as a cross to bless other weary pilgrims.
