Vale Luna Jan 2018
I think the Moon knows
I'm watching Her
Because sometimes,
                           She leaves me presents
It may sound silly
But I've got a jar full of Her secrets
That I keep in a lockbox under my bed
The pass code; Luna
So I'll praise Her title
Each time I uncover
The hidden gifts She's given to me

Purified droplets of moonlight.

The size of a jewel
The weight of a diamond
The glow of an angel
The shine of a star

The Moon probably knows
I'm watching Her
Because sometimes,
                            I find a drop
In the bud of a flower
Sometimes,
in the pit of a well
Sometimes,
in the cave of an animal
Sometimes,
in the crack of a rock
Sometimes,
in the hollow of a tree
Sometimes,
in the current of a stream
And on the rarest of occasions
I'll find Her lodged between the pages
Of my notebook

I've collected a dreams worth of gems now
So whenever I find myself,
                                       Lost.
- Swallowed by the void -
I'll have enough moonlight in my jar
To ignite the darkest of days
And the presence
                             of Her presents
Will go unnoticed by no shadow
Or creature of the night.

Luna knows I'm watching Her.

I'll continue to gaze from below
And let no stone go unturned
So when the Moon drips again
I'll be there to catch Her
Another crystallized droplet of a blessing
To tuck away
In the box under my bed.

I want to be
Someone that you'll enjoy
Come unto me
I'll give you peace,
I'll give you joy.

But usually,
People don't take me seriously
They treat me as a toy
It gets me annoyed

It's unbelievable that there's someone so nice
I'm sweeter than sugar, flavourful as spice,
It's like you get a six everytime you roll the dice

You are so lucky
To have me

I really do not like it when I am used
I won't tolerate my friendship being abused
To not see my worth, you must really be a ******

You wouldn't want me
To think that of thee

Ooh,
If I was like you
Doing the thing you do
It'd make me go boo-hoo

What makes me sad is you
And the things you do
They are so cru-
El and selfish too

That won't change anything

I want to be
Someone that you'll enjoy
Come unto me
I'll give you peace,
I'll give you joy.

But usually,
People don't take me seriously
They treat me as a toy
It gets me annoyed

May the seasoning of the season
stuff you full of all that's holy,
all that's holly
and all that's homely.
May your sudden new year
surprise you with a new sense
of living fully,
resolutely
and purposely.
And may the Christ of Christmas be present meaningfully daily.
Happy New Year

May you live in interesting times
May you lounge in sunnier climes
May your roads be thrilling and clear
May you always find froth on your beer
May your friends be faithful and honest
May you fulfil most your promise
May you always be singing new songs
And may you truely know you belong
Happy New Year

Falls,
splatters.
and splashes
of blessings
and love.
Sprinkles
twinkle
from the mass
from above.
Each splash,
sprinkle, and
spray glimmers
down to us.
Our hearts
shout and rejoice
with glee from the
blessings of Jesus.

I wondered I was one
I always gaze through mind
With great story of time

Eyesore of folks makes me weak
But flint of culture
Make me seek

I was a fledgling
Who just learn to flame
The fire of traditions

I learnt from folks ;
Nothing can fulfill human needs
But calmness is something
That you should meet
Pallestine beauty

I learned to read and write at school.
I educated myself during my traveling and adventures .
I learned to swim well but it was in life's whirlpool
From thugs in the streets I got my lectures
Life provided me with the courses
My Failures harden my resolves
I got taught by my personal experiences
To get my bread I had to join pack like the wolves .
My tests were my challenges ,help came from no connection.
I failed a few courses and had to do remainders .
Yet through it all , I persevered grace to my street education ,
I was promoted to the class of those called breadwinners .

Somehow I knew my only way out was to hustle
So I set out to find myself but missed my way many times
I ate grass ,lighted trees ,ran the streets to beat the struggle
From the streets I learned to calculate my nickles and dimes .
I discovered poetry from the greatest book called the Bible ,
Written by the author and finisher of my faith , Jah most high
After writing my first poetry thru prayers ,I knew I was able
Thank God for the school of life ,I know everything will be aight !

Life is a school that teaches many things beyond reading and writing .

I say learn to practice what you preach
You have no rights to tear other people down
Remember this life is a long sandy beach
Each man has a unique print of his own.

So learn to always show love and support
No man is an Island, the famous adage says,
Brother-keeping is what life's entirely about
And kindness is a blessed seed sown for better days.

Love your neighbor as thyself, the good book says
How long will we go contrary to this universal law,
Commanded by God Himself since ancient of days?
A law in which he invested time and love to draw.

So where is humanity, where is that universal love?
It's time for the strong to give the weak a helping hand
The seed of love is the will of the Most High from above
So let love become that unique footprint left in the sand.

I lifted you up
As you raised
Our life higher
To a place much finer
than when We found
each other

Surely We had
Our struggles
Still the time was
Ours to hold
And We held it
Oh so well

We lived and
were so alive
Contentment then
Our blessing
and Our prize
Love then true
in a world
wholly Devine

Surely then it was
good for you
To have someone
who loved you so
To feel you were
the most precious
And your life dear
would always hold

You and me
We had it made
With a blessing
for Us between
All We touched
turned to goodness
Our life achieving
the best of all
Our dreams

We lost Our Blessing
somewhere there
And it was all Our fault
We lost the magic
beyond chemistry
that requires the
touch of God

Now We know
what it's like
a blessing
once to hold
Then to know
Our precious blessing
was then lost
and truly broke

Sadly now
You are an Angel fallen
Further than the
worst of all fears
To a place
I've never seen before
To a place that
I've never been

Still I will probably
love you forever Baby
or at least that's
the way it seems.

Take My Hand©

When you are
lonely
sad
unhappy

No matter
where you are
the place you’re in now
or how deep you have sunk

Know that
there is always a tomorrow
those who lead sometimes follow
success is measured by you

I will be there
to hold you up
give you strength
embrace your soul

Life is
lived one day at a time
each moment counting on its own
from blessing to blessing

Hear
my voice to guide you
through times that are tough
for you are never truly alone

Let your
thoughts be bright
even when it doesn’t seem all right
all the while remembering I am holding your hand
