Everything was spinning,
Churning, Turning,
Glowing like the Milky way
As bright as the night sky
As light ran around

Everything being pulled in
Barely managing to stay out
Sprinting in circles
Forever and ever,
Not being able to break away

And in the center
Lay the giant ogre
Leached of all light
Forever hungry
Always devouring
Never stopping

I don’t think there’s a day
that I don’t crave to be
the center of your world.
And how if nothing else went right,
it’d still be okay.
And how I hope more than anything,
you will feel the same pull to nothing,
to a black hole that will swallow us up,
turn us into intertwining matter,
and keep us safe amidst the entropy.

And it is now that I realize,
an escape would be out of the question.

Memories are porous
like seashells with nano holes.
Peace escapes
this permeable space,
choking it with clamor.

Future - the black hole
swallows the past sans remorse,
amnesia struggles in amniotic fluid,
an echo rebounds

Silence is bearable now.

insatiable child
you are akin to a black hole
only seen when consuming

you’ve thrown yourself
to the wilds just to prove
you can beat back the wolves again

you’d open the door
to a plane in flight
just to feel the wind
on your burning flesh

you’ve gone so far
that you have to yell
to be known

Today,
I am the emptiest space
and in the center is a black hole.
The sun, dethroned;
the planets have seen it all

and they can only witness so much.

Then again,
what happens in space is unseen by the naked eye.

The Event Horizon takes
Its coffee black

The Milky Way takes
It with cream and sugar

and they say a black hole weighs millions of solar masses; i don't know where that weight comes from. maybe it's from the guilt taken off the shoulders of the primordial gods, or from the chaos of the dying stars, or from the essence of every creature to ever live in this sad, bleak universe, and in the ones parallel to it.

and yet somehow, this celestial phenomenon has found its way inside my skin, and inside yours, and inside everyone's. and in some way darling, we've become the black holes we've learned to tame.

I'm filled to the brim,
yet I'm still threatening
myself with a paper
gun behind my head.

My hands are feverishly
searching for the heart that
vanished with no warning,
whilst the swaying anxiety pushes
me over the familiar edge;
thus my world is turned
upside down, yet again.

The place where my dreams used
to pave the way, has been demolished.
Now a black hole is roaring,
and it's spilling ancient demons
that stain my happiness.
They dance their shadow dance
while chanting self-destructive orders.

I can hear them day and
night, but they are most
prominent from dusk to dawn.
And it's during these
lonely hours that my
ears get painted red
and my cheeks stay wet.

You reminded me of a dream
that I failed to reach.

Even though I dream all the way
to the moon,
at least I fell amongst the brightest
star.

At least I didn't fall into your black hole,
that eats me alive,
and lives inside space of time,
left waiting for the unknown.
An old poem I wrote 12 weeks ago.

days go
by
like cars
go by
like days
go
by like
cars go
by
like days
go by
like
cars go
by in fashion
in form in
unison in
seconds

awake to repeat
on time
today as skeletons
flame contagion
bright against
your ripe apple

again arranging
your pattern to
fit   /   feed
the mouth sloppy
below bit-beady
black holes
