cait-cait
six feet deep
you have buried me ,
and i bang on the coffin door—

the
little bees outside make honey
while i just try to breathe .
.
.

one day, this grass will grow quite tall,
and i will soak my
aching feet ,

who was it,
who told you to hurt me?

who is it, that wants me to
die?

these roses are so beautiful, yet
all of them have
thorns.

cait-cait
you have so much love inside yourself
one day ,
you will only ache

you turn
your brown glass eyeballs in fountain blue,
as you have no more tears
left
to cry.
.

i think, one day,
a hole will open up inside you
but physically —
you will bleed .

who tore you open?
i want to ask—
and who will sew you closed?

you pour all of your blood into someone else,
.
and i touch each wound.
the title was meant to be the title of a poem I never wrote after my cat died, but it fits here too. I wrote this quickly for my friend Emily who has so much love inside their heart. I don’t want anyone to break it.

faa
Her lips constant at the utterance
Of sweet and serene words filled
With adoration, praising him,
He who made endless hearts
do cartwheels and somersaults
Of multiple, millions nigh and far
their hearts loving
As long as he’s living

Nonetheless, changing courses
Of history was what she excelled
One glance, one encounter turned

Her lips managing
to do none but stutter
To his shielded heart
no one managed to flutter

His deer like eyes observing
With admiration, eyes sparkling
every look, crook, nook
Of her smile that shook
The worlds and heavens
Devout in his heart and mind

His earth's plates shifting
His massive planets orbiting
He witnessed it all in one being

The gravity of the universe on her
Shoulders heavy from responsibility
The heavens challenging her capability
Her hardships conveyed as she blinked
their dilated orbs communicating
language barriers unstoppable
To what her eyes held

He understood his needs
To care, to cherish, to love,
Feeling his heart pumping blood
Faster, quicker than light
Travelling the dark domains
Undiscovered, just like her soul
That he felt the need to explore
As his heart finally fluttered
Love is blind,
They are not your eyes that are blind,
It is your heart.
My life, my rules,
I may be cool,
I am not a fool.
They say I am funny,
And as sweet as honey.
I may be a kooky,
But, I am not definitely cocky.
I am impressed by humility, generosity and kindness,
I stay clear of other people's bitterness or smallness.
I believe in me,
I never blab about,
My income,
My love life,
What I will do next.
If I am successful,
I am also grateful,
And I am strong enough to let go,
But wise enough to heal and grow,
I lead my life my way.
Life rules strong successful grateful

when people
call you
their home,
make sure
they don’t own
another one.

you’ll never know
if you’re just their
rest house
when things get bad
in their other house.
