It seems like whenever you struggle to look yourself in the mirror.
Whenever your skin irritates and appalls you,
You find someone who could spend a day in front of the mirror
Someone who treats their skin like a temple

mads
fire's wrath rages,
melting down my unworthy bones,
burn brightly my foe.
i watched you
absorbed each gesture
those tiny and delicate branches
nearly contiguous within
your fragile frame

your bones

nearly graze one another
yet so gracefully sweep and pass
into every pose or stance
beneath such warm, inviting skin
what is blood
what are muscles
when I can follow your bones

I gaze out of the window in the drunken hours -
a battered ford Mondeo looms out of the darkness,
unmoving on the pavement, reassuring and ghost-like.
the crackle of the polish neighbours' cheerful television set
A familiar scene is illuminated by the streetlight's yellow glow.
An ashtray sits on the windowsill of the record shop
lace curtains billow in the night breeze
Red wine in a mug, giggles and faint music
Creaking swings in the city park
and window lights dotted few and far between.
the dirt of my windowbox smells rich and dark
and my wilted sunflowers have closed up for the night.
Experimenting with aesthetics and imagery

Once I opened my window
To get a glimpse of the world
Climbing my wooden desk

When the sun rays entered
It ate all the darkness
and the day went bright
A smirk in the dark sipping the imaginary green tea of cleanse night.
Staggered, I fall backwards satisfied with my own senseless tongue
As fingers drop and slightly touch the thinest layer of dust.

Stars unseen but I imagine them perfectly smilling towards my eager to please the moon.
She laughs at my desperation to burn and leaves me staring at the empty wind.
I forgot to close the window and it's already 4 a.m.

the Eyes are the window to the Soul
really?
a tinted window, perhaps
or one with the shutters Tightly drawn
a shattered window
a window into an Empty room
or one so cluttered there is no where to Begin

maybe the window tells us more than what is Inside
