We often say,
" Save me,"
as if it were
possible at all.

like catching
all the world's
waterfalls

like breathing
a fireball

like dogs playing
basketball

But those don't work,
and neither does our wish.

Hopeless
like words on the lips of fish

Try as you might
but your attempts will always
be dismissed.

The hope of salvation is
self-love that persists.
love thy self.
know thy self.
save thy self.
I hate the way I cause you pain.
Making teardrops fall like rain.

I hate the way you make me think.
clouding my mind like I'm half asleep.

I hate the way I feel so weak.
I always feel like such a freak

but though we both make clouds and sleet.
we must try to stand on our feet

hope

is what we have.
this bleary endeavor will not last forever.
I promise <3
through the glass
this is so pretty.
is this the future?
its stretching in every direction.
"where is the car in front of me" is a good question
flurries cloud her vision
swirling and streaming through the air
its not snowing
but the dust is undoubtedly there
my eyes are wide
focused on the sky above
never have i seen such blazing color
scorching the night sky
When i was driving home in a very polluted area of town the streetlights made the ground glow, and the skyscrapers where going through the (surprisingly) low clouds
no longer where the clouds shone through by the sun.
they gleamed florescent.
Magazines tell me how
                                           pretty
I am.
School tells me how
                                           smart
I am.
"Friends" tell me how
                                           funny
I am.
Instructor tells me how
                                           talented
I am.

Can't I just be
                                           me?

With no comparative quality necessary?
Bleh. Don't know why.

Gonna dedicate this to Kay, my "Rose."

Sometimes you cry and no one sees your tears.
Sometimes you’re happy and no one sees your smile.
But **** just one time…
Changing faces for nameless places
Nameless people struggling for existence in a nameless time
Worship the incoherent ramblings
Of countless babbling nameless fools
Bread and water lead the lambs to slaughter
Prejudice injustice demanding obedience
Nameless zombies

Becoming the robotic puppet
Of the puppeteers desires
With pre-programmed responses
Feelings not your own

Desensitized children
Of a race of morbid loving junkies
We render them fearless, then cry
At the mass of chaos they invoke upon us

Lost leading the lost
Devouring the beauty in their paths
The scourge of the free man
Who lives under the delusion of his freedom

Prisoners all
While the power sits upon a high throne laughing
Unbelieving how simply they all fell
And obediently they continue to provide
The avenues of deception for his rich existence

Morning, I have broke
With thorn covered glass
Her petals, they spoke
A romantical farce

Like kiss me I'm beautiful
In a sentence the first,
The second her petals
Hydrated my thirst

And pressure was made
I wrote down the results
When it should've been roses
We must both be adults

There's no time to be beautiful
No reasons we kissed
Once time was a picture
We drew on our wrist

A villain from our favourite film
We joked about his presence
Now he sits behind our back
Breathe deep and of the essence

With our veins on the wall
To keep them in order
To help us keep track
Of our son and our daughter

Who'll repeat our mistakes
Face down in the river
One day to emerge
With a smiling, spoiled liver
Shh
forget, forget
my memory you will regret

Shh
don't look, don't look
under the cover of this book

Shh
just sleep, just sleep
deep enough to miss me weep
I want to stab someone then wash them clean in my tears.
I have issues.
