Insects sing their lullaby,
drawing you into night's cry;
It seems harmless from afar,
But in the thick, no skin's w'out mark.

In every beat, in every breath,
Love dances boldly, defying death.
A bond so deep, a force so true,
Love’s light forever guides us through.

Perhaps time is a machine gun when it stops. These words capsules for the unbearable. I would go away from the smitten crowd and talk to the sea. I pray to her: at least she examines its hallucinations of power.  To restore the heraclitean movement of our tragic faults. Try to create life with dead words from a dead sea of splendour, but the beauty of words is always unexpected.
Inflation accelerates in this incubator of power, its obscurity a destiny.
Do we still understand the meaning of light when women get pregnant with salty wounds, with poems that decompose as soon as they are born. I'll keep wondering if the echo of the sea grows in circles while this deluge of deception is a tomb for our thoughts without echo. Trauma is ahead of the game shaping falsified days for deranged deeds. Perhaps a sea of laughter is restored somewhere  like a pool of light fleeting on somebody's lips.
How can we see and it's in front of us: cruelty writes history.
Time violates its own decay when the world gets to be somebody's prey.
Sitting within myself
Belief in my wholeness
Bringing my light
Letting it shine
Most of the time
There’s no way to escape
Uncertainty
Occasionally
But that is not me
I have a powerful destiny
Maybe through this poetry
And maybe after I no longer be
These poems might still speak for me

I swear you are the most beautiful, a vision so rare,
Elegance flows from you, beyond all compare.
Like royalty in grace, you stand so divine,
A queen in your essence, your heart a pure shine.

I swear by the glow of a rose in full bloom,
Your radiance outshines its delicate plume.
In the still of the night, when the stars softly gleam,
I swear by your smile, a bright, endless beam.

By the soft breath of dawn as it paints the sky,
I vow with a heart that will never say goodbye.
The stars that twinkle in their endless trance,
I swear by your eyes, a deep, timeless dance.

Through the weave of the sky, through the dance of the sea,
I swear by your beauty, as boundless as can be.
The wind that hums through the soft evening air,
I swear by your warmth, a kindness so rare.

And though the years pass and the seasons may change,
I swear by the love in your soul that will range—
By the endless horizon where dreams take their flight,
I swear by your charm, your pure, radiant light.

Do not seek love as you seek gold,
For in the heart, it’s always bold.
It is the stillness, the quiet sound,
Where truth and beauty can be found.

By the rose’s touch, may love arise,
A glowing light beneath soft skies.
In every heart, may it remain,
A timeless flame that knows no pain.

She was a girl with oceans inside her,
waves made of dreams too fragile to hold.
But the world is indifferent —
it pulls, it drowns, it takes,
leaving salt in the wounds it never cared to see.
Her tides fought back,
rising, crashing,
begging to be enough,
until exhaustion felt like peace.
Now she floats,
not sinking,
not swimming,
just there.

By the charm of thousands of rose petals,
May love bloom where the heart settles.
In each delicate fold, in each fragrant hue,
May love surround all that we do.

By the dawn, when light is born,
May love rise, a fire to adorn.
In whispers soft, in shadows long,
May love emerge, a sacred song.

In the quiet hum of morning’s breath,
May love awaken, defying death.
In every smile, in every tear,
May love be constant, always near.

May it stir within each atom’s dance,
In every particle, in every trance.
In every whisper, in every sound,
May love be the force that knows no bound.

In the pulse of the earth, in the wind’s embrace,
May love shine brightly, lighting space.
By the moon, in silver lace,
May love cascade, a tender grace.

In the velvet night, where stars align,
May love burn bright, an endless sign.
Through every moment, through every sigh,
May love rise higher, beyond the sky.

In every heart, in every soul,
May love be the song that makes us whole.
A boundless power, a flame untamed,
By dawn and moon, may love be claimed.

In the soul of life, in every beat,
May love weave its rhythm, soft and sweet.
In each glance, in each tender touch,
May love unfold, embracing much.

With every step, with every prayer,
May love be the force that fills the air.
In the smallest gesture, in each song’s rise,
May love transcend all earthly ties.

May love flow freely, like endless streams,
Filling every silence, every dream.
In every heartbeat, in every sigh,
May love reign, eternal and high.

In every soul, in every mind,
May love be the bond that we all find.
A universe woven in endless grace,
May love be the light that fills each space.

Lord, I'm not perfect.
And I mix things up.
And I'm so grateful.
That you've got my back when all goes ******.

But there's more to the story;
You forgive me. You shape me.
You resolve my head of worry.
You've got my back when I f#@k it up.

Is this a love song?
Or a declaration?
I think it's a reminder!
I'm not the only one.

Perspective: I am an ant.
And you are the Son.
You are the one I seek.
In the morning, you are my rising sun.

Lord, I'm not perfect.
I go round and round in circles,
and when things erupt
I hide and nonchalantly pray: miracles.

Lord, I'm not perfect.
And I f#@k things up.

Sorry **
I have a tune in my head as I sing †his, don't know what it is or where it came from. Does anyone else hear songs to poems you write?

Do not rush little beauty,
Nature's timing is perfect.
It will, when ready, gently unfold your petals,
Revealing how you are exquisite.
Though life may bruise you,
New colours will emerge.
Though there may be tears,
Whispery wind will refresh you with a new urge.
Rain will thus come, muttering your soil,
The sunshine with its sublime rays,
No toil will be wasted,
Because all is written on your days.

I miss my best friend;
She brought adventure to my life
We hiked Machu Picchu and Kokoda,
Tasted dumplings at Holy Duck! in Kensington.
We were close for eight years:
Preempting needs - bringing her back a lg, skinny cap
after my morning walk around the Kirribilli shoreline.
But somewhere along the way,
I lost myself in her.
Love turned to hate.
She didn't see me, need me anymore
And it became too late…
I miss her.
Well, the idea of her anyway.
