the year is two thousand and fourteen and something isn't right

maybe it's related to the fact that there is no more history on the history channel

and the only thing the discovery channel wants to investigate
is the depth of our bank accounts

the word 'integrity' has become archaic. obsolete. unnecessary, simply, because nobody has any anymore.

whatever happened to learning for the sake of learning?

who was the sick greedy ******* who decided that it was okay to charge money for knowledge?

our youth are being put into ******* for the knowledge necessary to survive in this society

of inequality.

in the 21st century slaves toil away in classroom as well as coal mines.

and those who dare to resist the path of post-modern peonage laid before them are doomed to a life of minimum wage mundanity or constant criminal risk.

there is something to be said about the quality of our reality if we are constantly seeking mind altering substances to escape it.

i too have become a slave. and a large portion of those who read this message have as well.

our souls signed away at the dotted line, sealed within great paper phylacteries adorned with the sinister sigils of Sallie Mae.

the chains of our debt will never let go of us. even upon death our progeny will have to hoist our burdens on their shoulders.

and for those of you who know not of our *******, i bid you welcome, like a Brother greater than I once said:

"welcome to the united snakes, land of the thief, and home of the slave. the grand imperial guard, where the dollar is sacred and power is god."

if your total net worth rests below a cool few million i suggest you stay away.

silly me. silly me, silly me, silly me. after all this country was built on generation after generation of genocide, **** and fraud, codified into the laws we hold so tight and so high, how naive was i to even expect civil discourse and equality from a naturally sinister state?

cloaked in the fog of pure ignorance we the people paradoxically bear the weight of our fraudulent federal government on our backs while simultaneously parasitically depend upon it.

parapets and gaudy domiciles all built with the blood sweat and tears of the disenfranchised. soft music composed of the screams of children dying from predator drone hellfire missiles lilts through the hallways.

news flash: the illuminati and the reptilian overlords are not trying to control your mind.

this is not about pineal gland calcification and third eyes but about the systematic disenfranchisement and subjugation of every man woman and child in this unfortunate nation.

they impose harsh sentences on small time drug crimes and outsource our only sources of economic stability.
left with no upward mobility, we then resort to any means necessary to simply survive.

'the world is your oyster.' they say. and they conveniently fail to mention the fine print which emphatically states that you may only possess the oyster shucking knife if you are white, male, and upper middle class.

this is not about checking privilege and white guilt. this is about the way that this ****** up world works. about the sinister cogs turning behind the scenes.

and if you dare raise your voice in resistance you'll find yourself staring at cinderblock walls, spools of barbed wire, reinforced steel bars, and armed guards for the rest of your sad life. your enclosed inmate existence making the coffers of the prison-industrial complex even deeper.

some say we should raise our fists instead and fight. and i say to them good luck fight the world's most technologically advanced military in its own home territory. Guerilla warfare and armed millitias stand about as good of a chance and gorillas armed with sticks and stones when the enemy possesses satellites that can see your face from orbit.

and i hope you don't mine being despised by the public of the modern world when you're slapped in the face with that dreadful catch-all term that is 'terrorist'.

but we can't just sit here and let the vines of greed asphyxiate our vitality away.

so herein lies the eternal question that i pose to you:

what are we to do?
this is my first attempt at a slam poem

Is sanity that super model we see on tv,
starving to death,
and half dead,
with regret?
or is it the politicians who wear fake smiles,
and lie for a living,
will that ever be forgiven?
We try to be like the people,
broken inside
and die trying
but why?

“You are the leaders of tomorrow”
They told us over and over
Right from the tender age of three
Through childhood and adolescence.
We have outgrown our youth
We are now mature men
We have come of age to lead
Just as promised decades ago.

At a recent gathering
Our *leaders of yesterday

Stricken with age and power
And long overdue for retirement
Addressed us, saying,
“Bla bla bla, bla bla, bla bla bla…”
“You are the leaders of tomorrow”*
That last statement jolted me awake
From his uninspiring, boring speech.

Then it dawned on me
We are a sleeping generation
We have long been waiting- sleeping!
When we should be leading
Our greedy, power-drunk leaders,
Will die in active service!
They will NOT hand over to us!
Not if we sit and wait for them.

I had a *revelation
that the “tomorrow”,
We were promised “yesterday”
Is fast becoming yesterday, today!
And while the Nigerian youth sleeps
His chance is being usurped by his fathers
Yesterday we heard this promise
Today we hear the same promise
But come tomorrow, we will be too old to lead
And our children’s turn, it will be.

We have been scammed of our future
By the very ones we entrusted them with
And like turns in a game of scrabble,
We have missed ours- forever!
Our leaders are old men
Who have no faith in youths
And come tomorrow, our children,
Will have graves to look up to

Because we would have no experience
From which to advise them…
And like an unwanted track on a CD
Our generation would have been skipped
By the geriatric push of a ⇒ button!

A practical instance of "tomorrow never dies"

I walk into this containment cell of lost souls
Groping around hoping to succeed towards their parent'a goals
We are all just playing another role
A building block under their control
But when you're the block that causes Jenga, heads start to roll
They'll throw you into a hole
Where you'll live your life like a mole
An animal in a cage, a box, a cell, that's the tole
Their real goal
To lock you up and maintain control
Expectations, society, and daily school life. Oh and of course me to **** all over it

Here we go again
Back and forth about the flaws I need to mend
Just because I tend to enjoy the thought of my end
And that I'm always dressed in black when I'm out with my friends
You sit there and wonder what could've happened
to that boy oh so happy
Now a lover of anarchy and a hater of society
How grandmother do you see such beauty in conformity?
Have you taken into consideration this reality?
The idea of order and balance is rapidly
Turning into a travesty
Because of mankind's brutality
and false sense of morality
There's vanity and inhumanity
Against ones own sexuality
And people have the audacity
to critically antagonize those for their God given nationality
While this wonderful country
Goes further intro bankruptcy
So continue to live your keen little fantasy
That we are all living happily and equally
Your views have such opacity
That I can see right through your irrationality
And your thinning mentality
So please continue to criticize me
Please provide some amnesty
Don't listen to me I'm just crazy
Remember? You can't trust me because everything I say is blasphemy
So excuse my insanity
And allow me to gulp down these pills so carefully
Not to take more than I should be
And I'll just vegetate amongst people like a cavity
An outcast to your perfect **society
My family has a fair belief that "Everyone is entitled to THEIR opinion."

My legs cut through the air like a scythe as this pendulum swings
Lyrics decapitate your pride like a king in a guillotine
Emotions will fly left and to the right while remaining unseen
Some are delightful but others are as black as my jeans
I can never really tell if my mind is getting better
When all the time I can't even decide if I'm sweating or I need a sweater
So burn all these letters and leave the past behind
But even that can't fix my troubled little mind
Still having those delusions
Not making any friends
With demons and illusions
That want my life to end
Torn between reality
And who I should be and who I want to be
I'm just done with society
And all of it's conformity
Done with all the tools and fakes and it just takes everything out of me to not treat them so badly and start some ****** anarchy
So allow me to just swing life away on this beautiful day to the beat of my own drums and rhythm in my ears with the lyrics from my past that just bring me right to tears
And allow me to close my eyes and swing to and fro
No longer in control of which direction I will go
Will I jump to the sky and wave my past goodbye
Or will I fall to the ground just because I enjoy the sound
Addicted to the misery that I once I had
Listening to every ******* lyric that makes me mad
So allow me to grit my teeth and sway all about
Trying my best with people around not to scream and shout
Because when my music talks to the voices, who knows what darkness will come out
So I get off and leave because I can no longer breath
With those words crawling up my spine and right down my sleeves
Seeing becomes believing as I start heading home
My old friends never like for me to travel alone....

It has started to seem
Like from a strange dream.
That we are undead
but it seems that by death we are lead.
It guides us like a father
comforts like a mother
Teases us like a sister
Protects us like a brother
We undead, who love destruction,
Are left on earth with one instruction.
Burn the earth
and show some mirth
Toward the abandoned breed.
And death will give us all we need.

It's a new generation
Let's make our own nation
Populated by the undead
By our deadly parent we are fed
Reject my dear friend, every time I have a writers block you provide me inspiration. I love your works. I hope that my own will make a good dip **** to yours.

It's always darkest right before the dawn
So when the horizon comes and blinds your eyes
When you wake up and the sun beats down upon your tears
A new day
A new love
A new life appears
So light the match
Start the fire
A new world order is in your favor
Anarchy we are attached
Accept your desires
Raise your flag and raise it high
And they will follow
All of the hearts left hollow
Together we are one
Our future is neigh
The rage in our eyes
Towards all who have shunned
Our souls aflame
Sanity lost
We only have them to blame
We, the cost
For their mistakes
We the monsters who can't be tamed
Will rise together
Like birds of a feather
When we bring hell
We will not feel shamed
So raise your flag and raise it high
As our scarred fists set fire to the sky
My true anarchist is coming out.... Who's with me?

Dear society,
       I followed you so blindly.
You did not treat me kindly.
Left alone yet taunted.
I was dead yet haunted.
You filled me full of pain.
It provides you no gain.
Then you drew up these bars.
And you let me carve these scars.
If it takes a community to raise a child. Well then I would prefer to be wild
Society, the center of hypocrisy.
The reflection of vanity.
The meal for Gluttony.
The provider of adultery.
The one we envy.
The antagonist that makes us angry.
The couch for us to be lazy.
The seller to the greedy.
Oh society, you will do us in.
You and the 7 deadly sins.
                 Hate you,
MnM

It's raining, it's storming
The tools are conforming
Society will be the death of me
Please pills, don't let me wake in the morning
It's sleeting, it's snowing
Their plastic smiles are glowing
Put your make up on, dignity gone
Make sure your "made in China" tag isn't showing
Its windy, the sun is shining!
Their ignorance is blinding!
No hope for mankind, I've lost my mind
There is no silver lining
Anarchy? Anyone?

Welcome to a world full of individuality
But don't let that fool you *** it's full of hypocrisy
So hold on dearly to your sanity
Or else you'll end up a reject thrown out just like me
Because people are only as good as society let's them be
And soon you'll see
The true beauty
In Anarchy
Because sometimes you gotta bleed in order to see clearly
Behind the masks of those who appear so cheerfully
There are scars so deep with souls so sickly
Minds corrupted by mental disease and PTSD
We don't get comfort no we don't get empathy
We can't be dragging people down because we're not their responsibility
So we continue to sing our songs on this sinking ship lost out at sea
Because we couldn't be what they wanted us to be
