To know Him is to love Him
To love Him is to follow Him
To follow Him is to imitate Him
To imitate Him is to be Him for others
In knowing Him we know and find ourselves
In loving Him we see others the way He sees us
In following Him we learn and grow in faith and holiness
In imitating Him we are more truly free
In being Him for others we bring another heart to know Him
And the cycle starts again

I stand in this messy state of grace,
granted forgiveness,
cleansed from my soiled trace,
and dressed in gifted innocence -

yet
I still stand peering through my dark glass,
seeking my father's encountenance,
seeking to keep pace
with a Saviour who appears
to respect breathing space.
Although He is as quick with an embrace
as He is to displace my misplaced fearfulness,
in His presence I'm all too conscious
of lingering idols which were once in place,
now giving rightful pride of place
to this harbinger of grace.

Yet
I still stand peering,
longing for a fanfare,
hearing a distinct whisper,
feeling a familiar nudge,
and so I turn to His touch
in nervous obedience,
with a fragile confidence
growing only as I take a breath,
only as I take
this faithful, fateful step,
stating my allegiance
with every tread
through a messy state of grace,
ready for whatever I may face,
so Saviour, set the pace and lead on!
Loved by God but living with human nature's doubts.

She's alone in the crowd
Surrounded by her friends
Yet as she walks by
Nobody turns or bends
To watch her as she cries

Oh Girl
You don't need turn your eyes
To see Him smile
He's where your help comes from
He sings your love song
He's writing it for you
Every morning it is new
And He looks and sees

Oh
She walks in the crowds
Surrounded by his love
And as she walks by
He turns to her and says
"I'm walking by your side."

Oh Girl
You don't need turn your eyes
To see Him smile
He's where your help comes from
He sings your love song
He's writing it for you
Every morning it is new

He loves You, He loves her
We're all daughters of the king
So sisters we sing

Oh Girl
You don't need turn your eyes
To see Him smile
He's where your help comes from
He sings your love song
He's writing it for you
Every morning it is new
And He looks and sees....You
Shall I deny who I am to gain what will not remain?
The approval of man.
As fleeting as dust in the wind.
Or shall I live for the Truth?
Live...
for Him.
Live for the Eternal One.
And His Kingdom's reign.

Shall I live for the love of man?
Which is fickle.
Changeable.
Like the phases of the moon.
Or shall I abide in His Love?
Which is immoveable.
Unrelenting.
And will never change.

Shall I deny who I am?
Feeling outwardly comfortable.
While my soul is in chains.
Shall I live for the temporal,
which is so short and fleeting?
Like shifting sand.
Like shifting sand.
Or shall I live for the Eternal?
"On Christ the Solid Rock I stand." (Edward Mote, c.1834)
Firm Rock.
Stable Rock.
This is where I choose
to place the soles of my feet.
Firmly planted in His Word.
Firmly planted in His Love.
With my roots going deep.

"On Christ the Solid Rock I stand."
On Christ the Immoveable Rock I stand.
With roots going down deep.
With roots going down deep.
Into the Eternal.

In an age of persecution
When Christians died
For their beliefs
Apostle John wrote
Revelation
To encourage and
Bring relief

First century folk
Who held Jesus' tenants
Were martyred in
Most horrid ways
But John wrote about
His coming
Christ described the
End of Days.

The early faithful
Found their solace
In the Gospel
Sweet & pure
The Bible's WORD
Was ever spoken
And its precepts
Still endure

Modern man cannot
Believe it
Because he has
A hardened heart
But when tribulation
Finds him
Rest assured he'll come apart!

So we put our trust in Jesus?
IS He simply "fairy tale"?
Why did Christians
Sing their hearts out
When lit on fire and impaled?

How could they endure
Having their heads drilled
Molten lead then poured within?
How could could they
Be so calm & joyous
When lions tore them
Limb from limb?

Their contemporaries
Could not believe it!
When Christ was preached
It was received!
The Gospel forwarded
By each man dying
By their blood
The folk believed!

Now Christian people
Won't mention Jesus!
They give sin a little wink!
They're afraid of persecution
By caring what the
Lost may think!

Wake up, folks!
The toast is burning!
Give witnessing
The college try!
There are hearts
Who're out there yearning!
Cap'n Crunch waves us goodbye!

I may get flack
For this assertion
I may get comments
For to spare
I may get called
A backward person
People... I don't really care!

If I don't warn of
God's Judgment
Tribulations in this land
I'm not a Watchman on
The Wall here
And

your blood is on my hands!

I'll read & preach
From Revelation
The ending always
Helps us cope
Read the outcome
Of our suffering

It will give ETERNAL HOPE.

I'd love to write out the entire last chapter of Revelation. It is NOT a book of doom & destruction for believers at ALL! But a treatise of HOPE! Please find a bible & read it. It's not just a metaphor. It will be a TRUE EVENT! HEAVEN WILL COME TO EARTH!

♡♡ LOVE YOU ALL! ♡♡
Are we not to be the…
faint illumination of
Christ, reflecting Him
with actions of Love?

As terrestrial beings,
we’re continually mired
by an encasement of clay;
can our Faith be fired

up by our relationship to
our eternal Lord and Savior?
Fake Christianity will be
revealed in poor behaviors

that can be recognized by
anyone; as human candles,
Faith can shine brightly.
Avoiding personal scandals

is achievable, when we’re
purposed to live as Christ.
After all, no one else can
provide… everlasting Life!

In my little time on earth
I've come to understand a few things
That Solomon was wise but ended up being foolish
That Samson was powerful but died with his enemy
That Judas was chosen but betrayed himself
That Miriam was loving but ended up being proud
Those Nadab & Abihu sons of the priest could offer strange fire
That if like Joseph, my dreams could always come true not minding opposing forces
That Moses with seeing God only saw Canaan land
That Joshua with his status as a messenger could be separate
That Gideon in the least town could be mighty and famous
That the forsaken Jepthah could become a ruler over the haters
That fear could get up with someone like Elijah
That David could be King after everything
That Daniel could excel in a strange land
That Jeremiah the stammered could be a prophet
That Hannah needed only one Shiloh to get Samuel
That only one wholly no to Delilah might have saved Samson
That you have to always flee from Potiphar’s wife
That like Jehoshaphat you have to praise God only in face of impossibilities
That like David only love for God would make you see insult to God as to you
That even Prophet Samuel could be deceived by his eye
That like Paul the prophet persecutor becoming a prophet present for perishing Gentiles
That like Jesus, prayer and fasting is needed for journey through life
That like Adam, i always needs to double question down my Eve & say no
That if my Eve sins i shouldn’t blame her
That i should not be jealous as Cain
That like Abel i should drop the right offering
That like God i should release my beloved for the gospel to the world
That like Esther i should not forget where i come from
That like Daniel and friends i should be ready to die for the truth
That like Abraham i should know when to zip up
That like lots wife i should not look back
That like Lot i should protect strangers from harm
That like Sarah i should not doubt
That like Manoah i should not keep secret from my spouse
That like Zechariah i should remain ever steadfast serving the Lord
That like Hosea i should be ready to obey God at all cost
That like Jonah i should not run from God
That like the Apostles i should be obedient to my master
That like Paul and Silas i should praise when prayer doesn't work
That like Jesus should be ready to die for the gospel sake
That like Eli i must correct my children
That like Ophineas and Phineas, i shouldn’t make God people to sin through me
That like Judah, my word must i keep when i give it out
That like Thomas, i must ask God to show if i don't believe
That like ruben, no matter how fine she is untouchable, should remain steadfast
That like Jacob’s daughter i should not mix with the world
That like asahel, i should respect elders
That like Jacob, i should leave vengeance to God
That like joseph, i should be forgiving and not forget family
That like Moses, i should always respect my Aaron and Hur
That like Jesus, i should go up to the mountain
That like blond Batimeus, i should shout out
That like John the Baptist, be mad to make difference
That like jezebel, evil doesn’t pays
That like Abraham, faith is needed in this short journey supposedly long
That like prophet Aizah, i could stand out among lying prophets
That like Phillip, i can light up a town for Jesus
That like Stephen, i should see the prize and forget the pain
But this one thing i never forget
That with Jesus, i would be fishing men
I’m more than conqueror
I have dominion
lessons you learn that should stick

He comes to church faithfully in the same suit.
Other notice and whisper.

She comes to church in the same dress.
Other notice and talk.
Except for the one thing they don't notice.
Is their dedication to our God.

They both are loyal followers.

So where is the compassion?

He prays faithfully.
She prays faithfully.

But the few only notice their clothes.

Where is the love?

They speak not negative of anyone.

Politely smile and goes on by their day.

God recognizes the loyal ones.

For it is said the poor shall inherit the earth.

And it won't be about the clothes worn in church.

Then
They look at us and they call us crazy. They think we're a bit out of touch. What they fail to get is what we have gained, and what we would like to share with them so much. We accept what they call impossible, yet miracles happen everyday. We are taught to show mercy and kindness, but to stand with resolve and seek Justice. People ask us how we can live this way. To know the person of Jesus, is to begin to understand that we are never on our own, for our God has a master plan. When the world looks at us, what they really don't see. Is that because of what we believe, we have been forgiven and are set free.
