I miss you
like people miss peace
when they are at war.

I miss you
like people miss summer
when it’s too cold.

I miss you
like people miss comfort
when they are in pain.

I miss you
like people miss that
one friend who has gone.

I miss you
more than you can think,
the more times your eyes can blink,
and more than you will ever know.

this country would be so different
if we built a mirror rather than a wall
we could see that our reflections
aren’t so different after all
some people will only be there for you,
if convenient.
you feel it,
so you scream "I don't need you at all,"
and they breathe, a sigh of relief.

no more pretending is necessary.
He asked me “aren’t you afraid of being alone?”

I said “how could I be? I’m not even alone inside my head”
It becomes very hard to make decisions
when everything and everyone tells me
its not right.
But my heart just wont give up.
i miss the old me,
i was not a quite person,
i used to be so cheerful,
i used to be smile a lot,
i used to be talk a lot,
i used to be so confident.

but that part of me is disappeared,
i lost myself,
no matter how hard i try to find it,
i just can't,
i need a map to find my own self,
but that map doesn't even exist,
guess i ain't gonna find myself.
Love is like fire.
It can warm you and brighten your life.
Be careless and play with it,
and it will burn you.
a poet who can't write
a dog that won't bite
a hill that can't climb
a clock with no time

an ist with no ism
undead but not risen
an endless schism
of self sedition and indecision

a two headed coin
a completely missed point
a light in the void
a limbless joint

Bo-Peep with no sheep
the shallowest deep
an unsailed sea
of dreamless sleep
while morrissey despairs in the background
