This is what happens when depressive patterns illustrate your mind. . .

you lose sense of control, reason, and rhyme. . .

Everything matters-  yet,
nothing matters at the same time.

Life can be so beautiful.
The way the water ripples when kissed by the wind,
the way the trees dance,
like they never felt sin.
I want to live a life so beautiful-
that even the most vibrant of violets
is jealous,
Meet a love so passionate that Mother Nature goes blind,
I want thoughts as pure as the Oregon rain.
A life that bares no sin,
and holds no pain.
I want to run-
faster than the ducks can fly,
faster than my tears move when I cry.
But in this bittersweet moment,
I bare marks of self-harm,
paired with a smile that lives a lie.

i am learning to love myself
like he never could
and darling
i can feel flowers
growing from my scars
reaching for the sunshine
of my new found smile

Shrug it off darling,
all birds
need to fly
some know
their way back
others
find new ones..

Shrug it off..
some birds might
stay and dance
with every
shrug..
shrug burden birds partners him her dance home

Secrets

Secrets,
Everyone has them.
Hidden deep within,
Never to be discovered.
We would protect them with our lives,
So they can never be found,
For even the nicest
Have the darkest secrets too.
No matter how hard it is to try to hide,
They are always somewhere.
For even the prettiest smiles
Hold the most secrets.
The prettiest eyes
Have shed the most tears.
The kindest hearts
Have felt the most pain
All unnoticed
Because it was a
SECRET
That no one could know
Secrets can be someones downfall. Anyways, thanks for reading. I hope you like it.

when she is alone at last,

she curses

and cries

and erupts into chaos,

for there is no one in the world

who would accept her madness

and still see the sanity

If not for the moon, we won’t see the stars,
If not for the wound, we won’t see the scars.

If not for the highs, we won’t feel no lows,
If not for the fast, we won’t feel no slows.

If not for the poor, we won’t have no rich.
If not for the river, we won’t have no bridge.

If not for the day, we won’t have no night.
If not for the wars, we won’t have no fight.

If not for the happiness, we won’t have no satisfactions,
If not for the love, we won’t have no affections.

If not for the winner, we won’t have no losers.
If not for the options in life, we won’t have no choosers.

While we indulge in prayers and hymns
We tend to forget, we can be human beings.
While we pretend being, religious and pious
We cannot refrain from being, jealous and bias.
