running in the dark
away from the night
away from the silence
looking for the light
looking for your eyes

stars are crying for you
ashes of them rain
got lost in the sounds of my pain

my train's out of its rail
it's going down the hell
tomorrow or today
it won't ever change
I'm the lost one
you're already gone
some how, some way
some where in some day
you and I
we were in love
when you were already gone
when the one you love is gone all you can do is to get lost in your mind.
the more you think the worse it gets.
.
Patches of grass spot the hill,
Interspersed are old stones
Wind blown, like bones
Buried deep in the sun.

Wildflowers are crowding
There too, scorching bloom
In desolation, windy blown,
Sacred as any high tomb.

Crows circle above, waiting
For new soiled dreams to end,
I watch them from a shy window
Cold as the hill stones, remaining.
I thought maybe if I was his secret,
he'd keep me forever
Heavy lavender blossoms, lifted
by sudden rushes of night wind.

Jacaranda, her scented branches swept into
dancing alone under the only streetlight.

Hiding further in the dark, bushes of
kumquat fruits, ripely orange,
tempt me to taste them.

In the deep blue air, first stars create
orbs of light beyond themselves,
glowing hugely in the sultry, silent sky.

Out of midnight sky
unboundedness
one
dusky bluebird flew
straight to me.

Spreading his perfect wings
across my heart
I felt his feathers, felt his heart,
beating with my own.

"I will not leave you now."

"You have finally understood."

"And you have won my trust."

*"For always."

The sweetest smile, and all for me.
Loves come and go.
She stays on.

Smiling into the night ahead,
long dark hair
spread out widely
on her pillow, slender
arms resting
on all that softness.

She is the one who brings visions
in the depths of night.

Lucid clarity
and saturated, unknown colors.

Unvisited places, deeply longed for.

She tells me about the life within everything.

Underneath these words she gives me,
are sacred, and secret images,
abiding in silence,
abiding in vast inner space.

At last,
she is loved.

And she is listened to.
Dear Fellow Poets, This has been altered enough that I am submitting it as a new poem... I hope you concur with my decision. Blessings and gratitude to you all.

I love your eyes
They see a girl in me that I have never seen
You see a girl that has beautiful flaws
A girl with a warm touch who loves to be held
A girl with a bright smile who adores to laugh
Your eyes have found a girl with compassion and the ability to love
Your eyes have found a girl in me that I never knew existed
And the more you talk about her, the more she wants to come out to play.

Write it down
Sing it aloud
Draw it now
Because you feel it
I saw her
In the dark, in that alley way
Leaned against the wall
One foot resting behind her
One slightly in front
She smoked her cigarette and looked at me like I didn't know about pain
She hardly saw me
But I saw her every night
I passed her and she always waited
For the next guest, for the next moment.
She was like chalk
Pale and stale. Diminishing and entertaining
I noted her dark red lipstick.
Compared against her white skin and black hair it was the closest thing to life that I could relate her to
Her eyes always followed my footsteps past her
I watched her contemplate her choices as I faded down the street
But still every night I continued to see her.
