hybridstorm May 2020
As I look forward,
squinting my eyes and peering
ahead,
I feel a chilling wind on the back of my neck.
A shiver goes up my spine,
I break into a cold sweat.
I have lost focus of my path.
I know not where I am running.
I trip and fall,
and injure myself.
I watch as darkness engulfs me.
I am not scared.
The darkness had ugly eyes,
and I stared right into them.
The darkness vanished as swiftly as it had come.
The abyss realized that,
I know to battle,
even with the reminiscences
of my past.

We must all realize that the utter strength inside each and every one of ourselves and understand that we do indeed have 'what it takes'.We must headstrong enough to push all that causes a hindrance to our path to success and vitality.

As I sit here
a thousand thoughts
swirl in my mind
a sea of mixed emotions
ebbing and flowing
yet I see an everlasting joy
a peace and serenity
in the hallowed star
outside my window
every melancholy
washed away like the wind in the willows
Oh I pray upon a star
I know that you are not too far
in the dark of night
I see your flare
and breath in Your relief.

And even though I am alone,
I am not
even though I stand in the midst
of these lies
the star by my window
hears my cries by night
sings me strong songs
He knows just how I feel
and tells me everything will be alright.

As it has been told,
China has got cold
And has made the whole world sneeze
Thus making everything around me freeze
Is this too one of God's play?
Was what I heard people say
Each and every day
One or the other becomes a prey
We cannot give a hand
As it is the only way to withstand
But let us be beacons of light
At this hour where everything has gone out of sight
And the time has come
For us to sing 'we will overcome'

don't talk,just listen
pick their story's glisten
grasp how not to fail
from their perishing folktale
pay heed to their lamentation
to put yourself on flawless direction
learn about hell and misery
as this is the map for victory

end means end
there's nothing we can do if it's dead
grab on and let it go
take the opportunity and let it grow
forget the unworthy,
find your victory

She walks
Yes she has walked in a sea
Fecklessly running and strumming
Heart beating not seeing but grasping onto homeless dreams.
Note to self…
That next time you see Leviathan
Tell him there’s One much greater
And any time you hear the silent ring
Whistle while you work.

She prays for peace and she prays for mercy
Redemption only a sinking heart can long for
See she wondered in the wilderness
Singing breathless songs and looking into holes
A wild woman yet unnamed
A wild woman yet untamed

But she prayed for peace she prayed for mercy
So next time she sees Leviathan
She’ll tell him there’s one much greater
For when tears were her prayer
A king came to save her
On clouds of wonder
And righteous splendour
So she walks on...

I sit back in
the place of attack, but equipped for
battle this time;
The enemy won't win.
I laugh at him as
I greet the dawn with
a love soaked heart.
It smells like
leather, and my baby's hair.
I'm fully aware of
the antagonist's snares, and tricks,
but we won't be trapped.
See, this isn't a
tragedy, it's the epitome
of romance and victory.
I'm a stallion, and
she rides me into
the evening as we
eat peaches and
pomegranates, and let
the juice glisten on
our faces in God's
glorious setting sun.
