Beneath the air I breath
I find you
A soldier of youth
Catching stars to bring to earth
For me a present
For you a future

Rosemary covers overhead
Reaching for the words you’ve said
Past revelations
They brought us our now
Clear head
Words unread

Pressed against echother under a veil of stars
The pavement scratched my feet
leaving indents of pebbles at my heels
Covered on a summer night
we watched how each moved
We mesmerized sweet promenades
We understood the depth of memories
I fell into your arms
We danced as one
Two souls lost in a two step
A waltz of our own music
Humming the tunes of Presley
Eyes gazing into each others minds

To know what we were was a guess
You were the artist and I was the dancer
A mixture of spontinity and daydreams
Together we floated
Laughter filled our lungs
The music lasted us forever
It was our forever now

You whisked me away to a land of hope
A hope that still has yet to cease

Giving me a new world and a new name
Lover you called me
Affectionate and graceful
Emotions of children
Accompanied by the spark of an old flame
Joined together now
We felt as if we have met centuries prior
Under your gaze
Comforted by heartbeats

Together we have stayed
Who would have known we would make it this far?

I never believed in the idea of Normal
When it’s very presence has indicated a
Division
Between people who fit and people who don’t.
Normal is the thing that points at all of you
And calls you different.
I’ve known the phrase ‘that’s not Normal’
And I’ve had the blessing of not
Caring weather I was.
But do not walk up to someone and say they aren’t
Normal.
The entire concept of not being or being Normal
Only divides.
Everyone is their own.
And we are all our own.
And that puts us here together.
We are not alone in our loneliness.
So don’t make someone think they
Are.
Because we aren’t.
We aren’t alone.
And the important thing is that we’re
Together in our difference.
So so what?
So what if no one’s Normal.

A poem about how even if someone's different, it's important to know that everyone is.

Sight of eyes
Overlapping mine
Maybe destiny or
Even fate
Together we had an
Instant connection
My heart pounced with
Elevated emotion
So much
Wondrous love
Everlasting
Happiness spread
Around like a
Virus never
Ending together
That is love
Or maybe
Love is when
Even when you want
Them to stay they
Go up
abOve the clouds
But never forgot
United
Their memories
Never leaving them
Over your form
They watch
Forever until you go
Over that
bRoken bridge
Granted to spend
Eternal life
Together again
Sometimes We Have To Let Go, But Never Forget.
Look closely.

I love waking up next to you
The sunlight dancing on your face

I love your disheveled hair
Which I run my fingers through

I love your hazel eyes gazing up at me
Still not fully awake

I love your quiet voice
As you say good morning

I love your gentle hands
Tracing lines along my back

I love the way you smell
Our scents mixed throughout the night

Most of all, I just love you
And any time we spend together

i know one day when we're together
you will start to put all my pieces back together one by one
gluing each piece back together with love
traumas and heartbreak and all kinds of pain
turned into something greater
and mended with your love
you'll pull all those doubts and insecurities
right out of me a little at a time
you'll put all my puzzle pieces back
where they belong
i lost them a long time ago
but you'll find them
and i will finally be complete
