Sounds isn't sound until it vibrates an eardrum. Light is only warmth until it reaches an eye. I look to the thunderstorm in the sky, glad I have these instruments to experience the grand show...goosebumps & a long sigh

you are a thunderstorm;
when anger crackles beneath
and your veins pop

you are a thunderstorm;
when laughter bubbles out
together with a cheshire-like grin

you are a thunderstorm;
when tears pour out
with choppy breathing

you are a thunderstorm;
when in his arms
and when not

you are a thunderstorm;
cold and electrifying,
but beautiful.

There were clouds in her eyes,
From dreams she longed to share.
But instead rain fell from her open skies,
In rolling drops called tears.
She held on to all her dreams, for fear,
That no one would ever really steer,
Their planes into her stormy life to see,
Her land, her skies, or her deep blue sea.
When she once opened up herself to show
The world she had let inside her grow,
The ships and planes all turned away.
All cowards, fearful of a little rain.
However, over time it all evaporated.
That lonely rain got cloaked.
By plane's that were wreaked,
And their black puffs of smoke.
Her eyes no longer held that thunderstorm.
But instead they have changed form.
Now behind her eyes rests a burning forest,
That engulfs everything with an ember- a promise.
She isn't that fearful girl anymore,
Who wanted people to come in and explore.
Now, instead, she is a raging, flowing wildfire,
Who will never again cry
For those who run from her attire.
Don't let people break you. Instead become someone stronger.

the sky opened up and rain spilled onto my fractured back. drops of water slipped through the tiny cracks, traveling through my body to mix into my blood. the thunder clapped in my ears with a loud thud, shaking the organs shielded by my rib cage. the lighting struck with intensity and rage, sending jolts of electricity through my veins. heavy pellets of water slammed into the windowpanes, shattering the glass and leaving cuts on my hands. the trees crashed to the forest floor right where i stand.

and in all of this catastrophe, i only thought of you.
of your lips against my neck,

your hands on the small of my back,

your eyes meeting mine in the darkness of night,

your i love you’s which were spoken without any words at all,

your beautiful smile that bandaged my bruised heart,

but most of all, i thought of how you used to carry some of the weight too.
i miss you.

I hold glass bottles to the sky
In thunderstorms,
I go home and shelf them for light.
I crawl up and back into you
In thunderstorms
and wrap in warmth till I can't breathe.
Drown me
In thunderstorms;
Hold my head down inside your veins.
Your goosebumps hug me to you, snug,
In thunderstorms
When I find asylum under
Your thumb.
In thunderstorms,
I love you again. Just for a while,
While my mind pours columns of cold,
In thunderstorms
That hang over my head and haunt
Me with self-doubt till I stress out.
In thunderstorms,
I watch the rain drip down my brain
And cut through ice and chloroform.

look a rain drop see
falling from the sky
it'll hit the ground
wave your hand buh-bye

up there in the sky
right now it's high
falling from above
is it going to die?

when angels cry
sometimes in july
like people in a way
it's easy to see why

i need more time
today it rains again
i have to say more
its almost six a.m.

soul mind and flow
your heart will race
while rain drops fall
in a glorious dance

so many of them
we call it bad weather
weak on their own
a strong force together

a waterfall of thoughts
something to ponder
back to the story
bright light and thunder

this drop is me
that one is you
came out from a cloud
from an ocean of blue

form an allegiance
create a cirlce of life
two drops of water
we are falling in love

I've always been a thunderstorm
and you say you're not fairweather,
but darlin' why is it when I come around
you always panic for your umbrella?

Golden wave:
Noise muted.
Hands harvest blows.

Cicadas sing
Cedars on the horizon:
Voiceless words.

Birds declaim
The feeling of wet
Earth in wet air.

Gray clouds ragged
By a thousand lightnings
Released in a look.

Running water:
I Run with the stream.
Which mouth awaits?

Sometimes your voice sounds like rain beating heavy on a galvanized roof.
Sometimes I feel like I can hear the sadness pouring from your mouth like a rainstorm in the middle of the night.
You tried hard to swallow it, hide it beneath your tongue;
when you laugh you pretend it doesn't sound like thunder and howling winds,
You've flooded my home many times, my dear.
Sometimes I feel like I can hear the sadness,
the sadness pouring from your mouth like a rainstorm
in the middle of the night.
this is all over the **** place
