a hand of circular motion
will turn and turn without promotion
a notion of loyalty unbreaking a sure one
but also forgiving will never occur

boxed up bottles full of glass
a burn from plastic flames of past
a cast doesnt mean that broken pieces should last
for the renewal will never occur

fearsome dearsome and doleful
a spur of the moment decision thats hopeful
a bowl full of concepts berating an old soul
but also the meal will never occur

a hungry and mangled existence
a hurt that never heals, for instance
a distance doesnt make you a witness
for the pain has never occurred

We trust ourselves to know right from wrong.

We trust in the age old sayings of people whose names we can’t remember.

We trust our dogs not to **** in our favourite pair of shoes whilst we’re asleep.

We trust that everyone means well and just wants to get by.

We trust the teachers who taught us the earth is round, and that Pi is 3.14159 and how Pluto is the 9th planet in our solar system...

We trust that not everyone is right all the time.

We trust bus drivers to not get lost.

We trust in the fact that our keys are probably in plain sight even though we’ve been looking for half an hour.

We trust our parents to know what to do no matter the situation.

We trust the world to keep spinning away in the dark void of space with no company but the moon.

We trust that everything will be alright.

We trust that one more pint won’t hurt.

We trust that hangovers are only temporary.

We trust our partners when they say I love you.

We trust in traffic lights and zebra crossings.

We trust that this is our last chance to get a brand new sofa in the DFS sale with O% APR for 4 years.

We trust that size doesn’t matter.

We trust Alexa won’t tell us to *******, and that Siri will always help us no matter how many times we say we hate it.

We trust that despite our self-doubt and insecurities that we’ll probably still get through another day.

We trust in peanut butter.

We trust that no matter how many times things go wrong, mistakes are made and promises are forgotten, we will learn to trust again...
We trust.

Dead,
the day before yesterday.
Grieved by it, personally,
Reputation: few or no friends
Suggested art - lost its erratic stars
A dreamer! Dwelling in ideal realms
                          -the brain-
Madness

Melancholy

Indistinct curses with eyes upturned, already ******.
Happiness wit hglances introverted, shrouded in gloom,
arms wildly beating spirits - sought to forget
close by,
those glimpses
open to the doom of death
I pulled these lines from the Obituary of Edgar Allen Poe to construe a poem that I feel has both a theme of its own but draws aspects from Poe's life as well.

All my wishes, they manifest too soon.
Here we go again, the same dance; slow.
It left me there, under the bright blue moon.

Your promises fly by as loons,
signaling me in my cue to go
All my wishes, they manifest too soon.

The world's music of the night held me to swoon,
so, I missed the bus to your show
It left me there, under the bright blue moon.

I hope, I cry out to the beauty of that blue moon
for a chance, maybe these versus may flow
all my wishes, they manifest too soon.

the strings I play hum a broken tune,
but the breeze is forgiving, bringing me those tears in the sky that glow
It left me there, under the bright blue moon

Now, I share a meal with the sister of noon
sitting lonesome and caress the grass below
All my wishes, they manifest too soon.
It left me there under the bright blue moon.

When sands grind me bare
and my world's gears stop turning,
I look to the wind

and wait for the sky.
for the sun to rage off of
my range of vision

until stars come out,
instead of looking at feet
I fix to the sky.

my star stares me straight
directly in my third eye
'sit still my son please

I've sat here for years
let me tell you a story
of Earth at its start.

the planet's alive,
a lot like you can't you see,
from fire and storms

mass extinction, death
out of, the earth came to be.
Earth was weak until

she spun her core so
tightly and quickly the wind
came alive. With that

planet earth found a
cure for her fire. She found
beauty in balance,

constructed karma,
founded shifting sands of time,
dynamically brought

concepts of good and
evil to war with each other.
Positioned herself

in her suitable
orbit. Just follow the earth,
sit down, tame the fire.

Spin your existence
like her, and maybe you'll see
there's no need for breath

when wind fills your lungs.
Find your own balance within,
fight your own battle

learn desire serves
to feed flames, continue pain
life makes suffering.

Don't lose this battle
or your forces might make you
stay the same person.

If after you find
yourself trapped up on the moon,
don't fear traveler.

Fleeing far from home
you have started your journey!
One day you may find

Your own heaven place,
a perfect spot just to watch
the cosmos below.

And a star like me,
one day you're destined to be.
transcend all your pain

until we same speak.'
That's why I look to the stars,
through unsurety

I will keep swimming.
Knowing one day full well, I
belong in the sky.
There's no need for breath when the wind fills your lungs -- each stanza is a haiku

My name is Mr.
Nobody, and where I live
no one notices

me. Except for my
reflection, and through swirling
chaos, my mirror

taught me, to mask my
insides, lights behind my eyes
with an outside that's

also me, just a
bit more brittle. My shell that
I wear doesn't like

think or care about
people's little problems while
skinny starve-people

sit in the sand while
I hear bubble-people speak.
The innocence in

them concealed as a
person, hasn't been pricked
by the planet's harsh

criticisms, and
the people they haven't grown
up to be yet are

trapped in fast tracked
single mindedness, without
seeing life's puzzle.

I dance my way through
a lost portrait of chaos,
have you ever thought

of the forbidden
garden of eden? Was it
a fruit perched in a

garden? Or the earth
that I walk on. Do people
think about stillness

before biting from
the perfect enclosed system
that beauty and trees

were frame formed out of?
Gaia kissed me then spoke
I blended into

her perfect portrait,
no more important than a
droplet of water.

Insignificance
is inherent to life and
I hate when people

think themselves taller
than forests or think deeper
than creatures living

at the bottom of
the ocean. My mirror sits
frozen behind each

of my eyelids, so
each time I blink I transport
to tranquility,

only to open
my eyes and find spaces full
of bubble-people

who have not yet learned
to blink, world shrink perceived as
the seven seas world

breezes and knowledge
that is fake and brittle. and

My
   name
            is
               Mr. Nobody
                          and where I live
                                   no one notices me
                                              except for my reflection.
It is so easy to be invisible these days...

I'd write something as beautiful as you are
But I don't think I could ever find the words
So, I'll use what I do know to flow this out
Maybe, just maybe muse in a clever verse

Something unique, like you doesn't come around too often
And if you're lucky enough to have that, then cherish it because your hard, beating heart will soften

The bitter cynicism will slowly, but oh so surely begin to rot away
The plants of doubt and insecurity that have taken root in the soul will wither and die today

The mind will no longer be cloudy, and the road that was blocked will finally be clear

Or at least it would.... if you were here
