Sometimes I look back on the past,
where our bodies intertwined like vines,
and our hearts bloomed with ivy.

I want to swim up by your side
Between the sheets, through the tide

Warm my toes and take me under
Through depths and air bubbles we plunder

Your skin has a flavor, but do me a favor

Avoid all the retrospections
Focus on simple satisfactions

Your nose crinkles when you stifle a yawn
The longest hour is right before the dawn

I want to see how your lips split
when you're sleepy
I want to trace the lines
in your soft hand.
I want to feel your lungs drag air
in and out.
I want to feel your blood turn warm when
I kiss your cheek
?I want to move around in your
bed sheets just to make the smell
of you stronger

*I want to make you love yourself
just like I love you

When days go by and I don't get any of that magic stick
I start to feel just a little bit sick
For you to leave my sheets clean
Borders on unthinkably mean
Once a week used to be enough for me
But after I met you, I started craving your touch constantly
Your lips on my neck
Your tounge wondering below deck
The thrill of your ******
Quickly becoming a pleaseurable must
Didn't you know that this milk was a package deal, along with the cow,
Great news, huh, wow

I hate Dallas
But the hotels nice
Well, at least the view is
See it?
Beautiful isn’t it.
That was earlier today.
Now I’m here
Just standing here ****
In front of this window
I’m wishing someone to see me
For a good laugh
Or
Maybe they will muster up the courage to come knock on my door
Even with the Do Not Disturb Sign hanging from the ****
It’s something about hotels that gets me thinking this way
Out of sorts and more so in the gutter
To think of all the love made between these walls
Passionate - married, unmarried, one night stands, flings…
the good, the bad, and the really REALLY bad
I imagine more of the third
I’m not this way at home
I lay content in my cotton sheets with the occasional hum of a car passing
But here, in this hotel looking out 26 stories above the city
All I want is you…against me
Until the sun rises
Where we will carry on
Go back to our lives
In silence
