i prayed for sunshine
but all i got were storms
were i patient enough
i’d have seen the rainbow

There is not always a rainbow after the rain
Storm after storm, I feel the same.
There goes the sun, I still see dim.
He walks with a candle, and blew it as he came.
Terrified, to never see a light again.

I saw a rainbow today
it made me think of you
sometimes you are blue
and I remember that day
you're wearing a red shirt too
as we walk around
I see violets on the
ground
tall trees of green
there are yellow bells too
we wander this
small familiar town
taking our time
walking and talking
we saw an indigo
colored car passed
by
as the sun sets
burst its orange
hues
its been a long day
I enjoyed
spending it with
you
Poem of the day.

She shines like a rainbow in the night
a light, unbounded and free
Her warmth is a welcome respite
thawing the deepest freeze

Her lips a red velvet chorus
I can't help but overhear
She glows with the translucent aura
of a picturesque sunset sea

Buttercups turn to greet her smile
she'll lift your head with ease
Trees send their leaves for thousands of miles
just to be in her breeze

Her eyes are an ocean of opalescent blues
inviting the bold to dive in
and swim to a world of untold hues
her sparkle is unrivalled

In her violet dress and violent heels
The Devil would bare his soul for free
and so might I, for just a taste
the chance to lay her light to waste
first time I've gone back and edited a thing into a (hopefully better?) thing
One day you’ll hold your head up high;
Yes, higher than the Sun.
When joyful tears befall the light,
A rainbow reaches everyone.

Light and color come to hug me.
I’m bathing in a melting rainbow.
I am the colours,
And the colours are me.

The "I" in Pride
Should fade and die
For what pride is there?
When I have my flag that I like to hide?

Ripped and torn from rainbow fusions
Mixed up in teenage emotional confusion
There is no "I" when it's a delusion
My past once apart of the movement

Pride will only cause the "I" fall
Into a mind set I thought I would never recall
Stand proud? Why? It's against His Law
This "I" can't stand in pride. I'm kneeling down instead of standing tall
As a Christian I have my own conviction and struggles. To each his own to what they do and choose for their life. God gave us free will. So if this doesn't apply to you then that's okay! But for me... It is a struggle  That annoys my brain... when it is no longer who I am. So now I'm fighting to remember that God has indeed created amazing Godly men.

If you are gay, please know that this is nothing against you. This is not  a hate poem to you. This is just a struggle heart ache poem that I deal with. I believe the bible is truth and what it says is right. but everyone has a choice...

When the rainbow shines bright
Leaving shadows on the water
I'll be there
I'll make you so much stronger

I will forever be there
in the darkest of nights
And in the bluest of days
To show you delights

We will always be one
Together you and I
Forever my sun
There to light up the sky
Don't leave.

A morning rainbow was on the horizon today
The desert was misting not too far away

The sun, as it does, was just coming up
Caught the mist with its beams with light un-corrupt

The colors were welcoming and oddly quite right
It's not often you see, such a sight in dawns light

It’s wonderful to see such vision with fresh eyes
It’s a reminder that life has ways to be wise

Take the sights and the sounds that make up your day
Be grateful, for the beauty, that's been put on display...

Some mornings nature has ways of being inspiring right away...
This is todays vision!
