"The Dance"

The dance of life
is the purpose of life
dance
"A Man,
-any man,
will always tell you...
...what is on his mind.
The mind tells you nothing!
Knothing at all about him...
...that old books will not deliver."

"One cannot defeat his opponent,
by knowing only of his mind...
...for in his heart,
...in the Heart...
there in lies a mystery!"

-Al'akh min madinat 'Iilizabith'

I enjoy reading these old books very much. It reminds us of today in many ways.

I watched crimson dance on top of sapphires
Surrounded by moths
I begged forgiveness within their bars
Sent out a prayer for a savior
In return I received a mocking smile
As they took you away from me
In your death I was birthed
I bargained the flames of the raven
To burn the moths
I watched sapphires dance on top of crimson

I’m not who I claim to be
Few can see the chains I drag about
Still, they follow my lead
I’m wired into a new era of empowerment
Where I play the queen accordingly
Taking back control of the world
Reaching for what I want
That which rightfully belongs to me

I don’t know how to fix the mess they made
I can’t reset the past
I can only move forward along a twisted path
Abandoning all the answers
To watch them choke on the feathers they wanted desperately
One day you will understand
And maybe you will accept my apology
But I won’t rest till I get back what they took
I’m searching for that which rightfully belongs to me

Rise And Shine, Make today thine
For most perfect days like mine,
Promises no perfect tomorrow
For time is a perpetual arrow .

Rise and shine, now is the time
Slay your way to the borderline
Cherish your days and every great moments
Embrace your life and own all the moments .

Rise and shine, It's happiness time
Say aloud the world is now mine
Enjoy the rays whilst it lasts
Yesterday is now about our pasts .

Rise and shine, make time thine
Shine like autumn in summer time
Put in play hours and make it yours
For a day lasts but just few hours .

Rise and shine, make for yourself time
Allow yesterday and time to intertwine
Today is here, Tomorrow still awaits
Shine.for a borrowed time never waits .

The first step towards anything is to rise up...purpose

Why do I wish I'd die if life is supposedly so great?
How can I love myself if all I ever feel is hate?
How can I keep my sanity when the screams are so loud?
Why do I always feel ashamed, even when I should be proud?
In this world, do I serve any sort of purpose?
Or is my existence entirely worthless?
These are the questions to which I want the answers,
Before I am consumed by my self-hatred cancers.

there is something powerful about holding
a pen in your hand and writing down
all of the things that you know
and that you
don’t

so my tearstains litter the page like petals
falling from my pen
because my eyes have lost their caring long ago
I’m not sure when
but at some point being okay
became more important than being alive so

I don’t really cry anymore. can’t.
sometimes I know that I should but
the tears don’t come and I feel
a little less than human

but this is how i love myself:
honest ink tracing words of the heart
words that hold my essence better than i ever could
words that voice my joy and my hope and my anguish
words
words
words

Even my poems
do not speak eloquence
or a personal soliloquy--
my words lack the lush
and brazen must
that all else seem to speak.

To hold a pearl
is something to behold
a precious mistake
bore into beauty.

I speak muzzled
ideas that are simply
monologues; meant
to only hinge
ideas together.

They do not
let you understand me,
but give a soft or bleak
ensemble of demenor
of someone I've been trying to find.
Do you know who you are? Or even, who am I.
