If only I could find the fluffy comfort of your embrace from my pillow
the chill of your touch from the smooth caress of my bed sheets
the warmth of your firm ******* from my bed while I rest
the solace of your voice from whistling of birds at dawn
or the violent murmurs of rivers soaked in pain by storming rain
If only I could find the saccharine succulence of your lips from honey
or rather from flamboyant nectarine  April showers bloomed in June
the gold of your smile on the laughing face of the  full moon
the fulfilled promise of the joy you lend my soul from money

If only the sky  were as captivating blue as your hazel eyes
and the melody of your inspiration existed in musical beats
if only the curvature of the horizon was as fluid as your waist
the company of loneliness as welcome as that of a succoring guest
in the desolate nights clogged by frigid fog of your absence
and snow flakes of nostalgia falling from the skies of despair
fueled by the perilous weather in your climatic silence

If only dusk was synonymous to your captivating complexion
only then would I say that something else would stir an insurrection
but as it stands, no vivisection can match this tantalizing obsession
You own all of me, nothing can ever have all this attention and affection...

I'll share a tune, I'll sing a song,
Raise my voice... please sing along!
With the angels! With the birds!
Let's be sure the Lord has heard!

Rejoice! Rejoice!
Let's sing a song to Him!
Rejoice! Rejoice!
The victory to win!
Rejoice! Rejoice!
Though some may find it odd...
Rejoice! Rejoice!
Sing praises to our God!

We've had hardships, we've had trials
But Jesus Christ still lives! He smiles
When we defeat our dreary foe
Depression flees! It HAS TO GO!

Chorus

Ol' Joshua & Jehoshaphat
Went to war, knew where it's at
They didn't doubt! But instead
Sent the PRAISE TEAM UP AHEAD!

Chorus

Rejoicing will bring change, you'll see
In Christ we have the victory!

Chorus

PTL this morning!!!
Big and bold,
We praise him who the prophets of old
hoped and spoke of!
Praise him who we know,
him the faithful and true.
Praise him big!
Praise him bold!

I think of Him
Of what He has done for me
He brought me up when I was down
He Comforted me
Never abandoned me
So this
This is my poem
Of Thanks

It seems like blessings keep falling in my lap...

I make poems for free, more so really on freedom.
Obstacles and demons surround me, Somehow I beat em.
Inspired by Chance, so I'm taking every chance like a rapper, moving through the chapters while doing my praising dance.

I started from the bottom.
Now I'm here, not the top.
Clothing brand, book and album, all ready to drop.
Jesus loves.
Jesus saves.
While we're stuck in our ways.
Let's all catch the wave, pray, hope and smile for better days.

Basically training but I've graduated.
Like the last kid getting picked, but I participated.
Patiently waited, for elevators, now I'm taking the stairs.
With every step I'm growing up that's why I cut my hair.

I'll give him praise, all the way til I'm gone.
Hopefully before deceasing, the family is on.
We'll eat good.
Thanksgiving, yet it's misunderstood.
Blessings on blessings forever, falling down like they should.

Remember June’s long days,

and wild strawberries, drops of wine, the dew.

The nettles that methodically overgrow

the abandoned homesteads of exiles.

You must praise the mutilated world.

You watched the stylish yachts and ships;

one of them had a long trip ahead of it,

while salty oblivion awaited others.

You’ve seen the refugees heading nowhere,

you’ve heard the executioners sing joyfully.

You should praise the mutilated world.

Remember the moments when we were together

in a white room and the curtain fluttered.

Return in thought to the concert where music flared.

You gathered acorns in the park in autumn

and leaves eddied over the earth’s scars.

Praise the mutilated world

and the gray feather a thrush lost,

and the gentle light that strays and vanishes

and returns.

I look through my window at the stars as they shine
Showing their love to the creator divine.
I smell the flowers and breeze the sweetness drifting
Upward and onward to Heaven lifting.
I feel the grass beneath my feet, between my toes
I laugh and smile and all time seems to slow.
The birds sing their joyful songs
And the rocks and plants seem to sing along.
The crickets, frogs, and the night play out a chorus
How beautiful this symphony prepared for us!
All life, all the earth seems to have a voice
They sing praise to you and I make it my choice.
The most grand orchestra this world has and ever will see
How amazing this gift that you give to me!
You write your name on my heart and put a song in my soul
Gives a spring to my step like a young little foal.
My spirit soars on wings with the creatures of the air
Let me always feel with every bone in my body that you are always there!
