if you're wondering where to find me
i'll simply be here,
watching
i'm not lonely, exactly
just alone
but usually like it that way
until i do get lonely
it creeps around the corner
and slides through the cracks
of the wall around my heart

but that's enough
i think to myself
self-pity is nothing a smile can't take care of
it requires nothing but patience, contentment, and
thoughtfulness
to simply
sit on the sidelines

It is appropriate to say thanks
To All who have bumped into me
To All that I bumped into
For without you, I would not
Know who I am

Grateful to all who stopped me
Thanking all who aroused a confusion
Believing we were destined to meet up
For without you, I would not
Know who I am

Conscience is busy configuring
Of thoughts, words and deeds
with or without purpose
For without them, I would not
Know Who I am

Overlapping with those of others
Is my conscience, I realize
Indebted to be of service
This I know
For without others, I would not
Know Who I am

Having known this unavoidable
exchange of influences
It would be futile
To move on without bowing
For without you, I would not
Know Who I am

I take a knee before you
With open arms
Imploring to let us be in peace
In all our dealings
For without you, I would not
Know Who I am
Samantha Dietz Dec 2015
She exhaled, smoke floating from the lips that longed to be pressed against his. The taste of tobacco and chemicals lingered as she watched the cloud dissipate. She sighed and turned her attention to the trees swaying outside, naked with the exception of a thin layer of snow. The sun was finally falling out of view, painting the sky pink and purple on the horizon. She put the cigarette to her lips again, so routinely, as she has done for six years, and she waited. Anxiety grew within her, for the moon was not rising fast enough. She was anxious because she knew with each falling of the sun and rising of the moon, she was even just the slightest bit closer to holding the whole world in her arms again. Her eighteen year old body carried such an enormous weight because she was helpless. She spent every minute trying to rush the stars into shining in the night and the birds into chirping in the morning, to bring her closer to the most grand reunion. Meanwhile, all she could do was chainsmoke to pass the time.

i.

When all else faileth
I'll be there;
When this soul shalt leaveth
I'll be there;
When thou feeleth numb
I'll be there;
When this heart succumb's
I'll be there.

ii.

When thou feeleth empty
I'll fill thee up;
When there's not plenty
I'll giveth thee all I hath left,
More than enough.

iii.

When I'm sick and anguished
I'll giveth thee mine breath's;
When I'm dying and famished
I'll bringeth life into thine chest.
When the pain's overloaded
And distance is to much;
I shalt still hold on
To think of thy touch;
When thine eyesight gets blinded
And thine hearing starts to fail,
I shalt giveth thee mine eye's
And ears to heareth,
Musical detail's; and when the thunder roll's,
And the lightning strikes the land
I'll still be waiting amour',
For those valiant wedding plan's.
Because we wilt dance
In this life and the next
Eternal soulmate's
Living eternal life's best.

I took down my last post.
it sounded bitter.
I don't want to read stuff like that.
YOU should not have to either.

I must go off site for a while.
I'm making Christmas presents.
See you all again soon.

Lying to yourself can harm the universe
The truth it hurts
That's more than just a bunch of rhyming words to fit into the verse

It's time to pay attention to the things we never do in church
You really think you're blessed because you paid tithes to the church?

Couple more dollars on the plate
But now you're doing worse
Dummy keep your money and your patience
Let him do his work

Looking for the meaning of life without a Google search?
All roads lead your soul
Right back to rebirth

I have died and lived,
A thousand times,
Dead hopeless,
And with hope relived,

For the hope alone,
Is indeed power,
That could ****,
Or give us life,

Let them know that,
He who lived with hope,
Never died within,

And tell them that ,
he who lived hopeless,
Never really lived,

Why don't you wait and wait and hope ?

For everyone who thinks is running out of patience, and feels hopeless, my message would be that having hope is like having life in a better meaning
