How I wish.
Fat lips trembling, blazing heart pounding.
Fine words resist with all its might,
Holding dearly to my tongue.

******* down the drops of pain into the esophagus,
I lay, unable to digest.
I lay, with sickness of patience.
How I wish.

"Run!
Run towards the sun!
Where it will take you to tomorrow,
Where there will no longer be any sorrow!"

I repeat those words day and night.
It strengthens me to fight,
To fight for tomorrow,
Where there will no longer be any sorrow.

I've made a lot of regrettable mistakes,
Mistakes that can make the earth quake.
I've made a lot of horrible things,
Oh, how much sorrow it brings!

But I wait for tomorrow.
I wait for the moment I'm able to let go
Of the sorrow that fills me,
Finally feeling free.

The sun rises,
The oceans quiet,
No longer in a riot.
At last, the world is empty of vices!

Here lays tomorrow,
A day without any sorrow.
You may be sad, but please know that it's only temporary. You don't know what tomorrow has in store for you so just hold on and don't give up on life. The world isn't ready to let go of you yet.

"Take a moment for me." She said,
My reluctant reply,
"You first."

Love or feel hate
Forgive or hold a grudge
Rush or Simply wait
Accept or blindly judge
It’s simple really, a clear solution.
Clear enough to get rid of confusion.
Wait.
When the love you knew leaves you desolate,
Wait.

The simple fact is, you’ll never solve it,
Martyred anguish will never resolve it.
Wait.
When you think that you’ve lost your true soulmate,
Wait.

It’s a simple truth, despite what you feel.
Time hastens the better for you to heal.
Wait.
Love will come again, even if it’s late.
Wait.

Trust simplicity, don’t listen to pain.
If you loved once you can be loved again.
Wait.
Make your self ready to welcome your fate,
And…wait.

How many times will this wheel spin
Create the weave alike to cave in
You shoulda known I’d be filled out, made to be put out, sought out
I shoulda known to practice a reserved attitude
Reckless in approach
And at this point
I’m playing with the fire
It’s dying like a roach
Through with this burning ****
When you ain’t even worth a spit
I gotta call it quits
I don’t take or put up fits
I just do it for the kicks

Taking care
Of your
Cup of coffee
Is simple
Gently stir
To keep it
Consistent
Slowly
Take a sip
Don't burn yourself
Add some sugar
Just as much as
You need to
When it's
Getting cold
Heat it back up
And if you
Truly love your
Cup of coffee
You'll always
Find a way
Love is a working process. It doesn't matter how hard it gets. Love takes love.

This is a follow-up to my poem "A Cup of Coffee".

They're all pushing me
from all sides
''Go back to where you're from''

Oh!
Do you not see?
The dead on my face?

Can you not feel?
Air for my touches?

Its where I want to be,
But I can't.
I can never go back.

I sought comfort in the arms of strangers and suddenly became a stranger to myself.
Be careful how much of yourself you give.
All my life I have prioritized others instead of myself every time.
Be it money, time, help, giving, and love.
I love humanity more than myself, and more than often...I have ignored the pain of being used or taken advantage of.
I hate admitting to myself that I need to take care of myself too, just because it feels selfish.
But after helping so many, there came a point where I looked around and asked myself, "Who am I?"

Helping others...
But I lost a lot of energy and used my years building other people instead of my own.

I really hope this doesn't sound arrogant.
Because it's literally the last thing I care to be.
