¡Ya!
Prepare the barco,
Empújalo through the scrub.
‘It’s not much further now,'
His voice sugar-coated with expectation:
The flap of the jib, the slippery release into
El agua negra.
Summer sun has baked the avenue of grasses
Into wiry nests.
‘Do not open the gate,' he fulminates.

Waiting for the tren to pass
The gaze of the pasajero
Picks him out against the lights.
Wait, cross, check, shut the gate like you kiss
A un niño.

She pulls truculentemente against his bodyweight,
The smell of greased wheels
Mixes with the **** of ducks and burgers.

Canta ella:
‘It’s many the time I’ve sung this song,
Though the wind blows like a gale’.

How many more times can he set sail?
Before he is buried in the fango
And the sea shanty disintegrates
Into the
Trees?

Oh, the sweet warm nights of summer;
barefoot on the pavement but for once it doesn’t burn,
walking side by side under the newly born night.
I reach out to hug you and i laugh as i realize
your hair still smells of chlorine from the pool.

..
Rust makes weak old parts
until they crack in caustic riot.
Then slow we slough
through finite term
searching for some quiet.
Then settle in a nice safe box
to wait this whole thing out
A smile for every grateful year
prostrate to our diet.

My dad drove me there,
Well, he didn't mean to,
He drove me around the city,
It was a purple afternoon,
An orange hue consumed it all,
The sky ended up looking grotesque,
And, there it was,
The ice cream shop,
2006,
6 PM,
Grandpa drove me there,
He got a cone,
I got a small cup with three scoops,
The whole thing's now for sale,
Dilapidated,
It stands still.
Early memories will always haunt us...

you made me a cake from a box
added the ingredients and mixed it all up
set the timer and watched to make sure it didn’t burn
took it out and let it cool
then covered it with bright pink icing
then scattered sprinkles on top
you made me something sweet
because you’re not

In end I'm surprised
An old habit slowly dies
And beginnings rise
It takes determination but you can beat any vice

I am half
Of what I was
But, what counts
Is I live life to the fullest.
I think this one is a good thought.

Purple Amethyst
Beneath my tongue, keeps me from
Inebriation
The History: It is said that amethyst beneath the tongue prevents drunkenness. All types of drunkenness, I'm afraid not.
