Nameless stranger
Come and be my friend
Let us explore this life together
Let us enjoy it before it ends
Read me your so many books
And I shall read you mine
To explore worlds beyond our reach
Worlds made up by authors minds'
Let us learn about ourselves
Let us learn about the world
A world so divine
Yet somehow brutal and cold
Nameless stranger
Come and take my hand
Tell me all your little secrets
And I shall tell you mine
Show me what are you hiding behind those fake smiles
And the pains you conceal behind pretentious happy eyes
Tell me how they broke your heart
And laughed out loud at your pains
And I will show you my broken parts
All the dreams that went in vain
Be careful from my sharp edges
I don't want to cause you another scar
Or add a new wound to your still bleeding heart
A nameless stranger
Yet you are no stranger at all
Those who have experienced agony
Can recognize souls as damaged as their own.
I wrote this based on an actual stranger I saw a couple of times,
If you notice any mistakes in spelling/grammar do tell me, I'd much appreciate it

Parents to take our responsibility
Siblings to carry our roller-coaster emotions
Friends to co-create the madness we are
Relatives to form our extended safety networks
Spouse to satiate our mental, physical and lonely desires
Kids to give us those safe & positive vibes for future
Influentials and celebrations to realize our existence

But how about having one nameless relation?
One that doesn't mandate responsibilities?
One that doesn't burden expectations?
One that is Fearless, Formless & Weightless?
One that is 'Carelessly Caring' ?
Toward Material Trappings

Gold and silver upholds
     true value capitalist money tree
Thrown down upon gaunt
     lit alter of Midas,
     treasured as current sea

Countless denominations
     cashiered legal tender to grant
Rich Midas, who straddles
     diamond compound,
     billed as sacred Kant

Tickles with dollar signs
    motley foolish crue scrambling
    towards drawbridge gate
Pedestrians malingering
     hungry thirst
for wealth of nations to satiate

Inexorable appetite
     for wanton money to amass
Fuels reverence
     all that glitters even brass

Whence madding crowd
     behaviour cruel and crass
Deplorable if perceived
     from one-way looking glass

Fool hardiness to revere
     what beast called money,
     lucre, and green back
Can buy - sweeping across
     World Wide Web
     scarring globe on fast track

Toward accumulating
high excess lavish life harried style
parade with pomp
     and swiftly tailored circumstances while

Ninety nine percent
of less wealthy live hand to mouth
Envying those billeted
     behind sealed mansions
     east, west, north and south

Except this dollar less chap,
     who could not give a rat’s ****
For ka-ching melodic sound
twenty four seven that does swoosh

In burlap sack clothes
     and bank accounts preferring
     to slog and push
Along boulevard of broken dreams
     that resembles nothing but mush

Yet preference prevails
     foregoing attachment
     to government sanctioned loot
Freeing mind and body trying

     to cherish voluntary simplicity,
     which does suit
This quest for knowledge seeking writer,
     who disparages
     tooting his own horn

Nor imposing personal philosophy
that gives reason exuberantly to exhale
Versus vacuity and purposelessness
sans, blind faith toward Holy Grail
Goading most people to persevere
for millions of bucks over hill and dale

Despite owning next to nothing,
     yet detaching psychological
     bond that doth choke
Ability to experience unfettered psyche
likened to oxen iron bound yoke!

toward the degree to which you are individually
and everything else that’s outside of you
should disappear
for this world is a stranger to conditions
and there is no separation here
having unconditional awareness
of yourself + others
helps to fulfill the wholeness of Self
and therefore eventually everyone else

do not look at the condition of now
but focus on the wholeness that is you
view your life through eyes of divinity
come into alignment with who you are
who you really are
the nameless you
beyond this body
before human design
embrace your cosmic sight
undress yourself of judgement
and conditions will lose their meaning
our differences have our souls singing

we came here to love and be love
appreciate your own unique abilities
think of what a blessing it is to breathe
to be exactly what you are in this moment
it is exactly what you came here to be
you are already everything you dream
just close your eyes to see

We are one of a kind,
You and i.

Creatures of a similar feather,
Similar face,
Similar mind.

But we become named
Becomed blind.

The name and the nameless
At best beauty and the               .

The truth is for only yourself to find,

The true names of the blind

Everything in the home is new
She curls her toes against the wooden grain of the floorboards
Rain pelts against the window pane, her fingers flex
The dog moans somewhere beyond the walls
She feels like a phantom, her feet light on every surface
Untraceable, she finds him reclining on the couch
Curled in on himself, eyes, half-lidded
Heavy with sleep, pearled water on his eyelashes
She kisses his cheek, presses her lips against his wet forehead
His eyelids flutter open, his hands pass over the thick hardcover
A poet's book in his hand, pages dog-eared on 352, he opens it
Drowsily reads a poem, her words that she'd written late at night
Dripping from his lips, not mendacious, but holding a deeper truth in his mouth

-

This is where she would end up, in this soft-white-walled home
Everything is new and bright
The cat, curled up on the windowsill, seemingly peering into a divided world
Separated by the gentle pattering of falling rain
Everything outside is gray and cloudless
The computer is on but its light emitted is muted
She seats herself next to him, folds her legs underneath her
His hand grasps hers gently, turns it over, gleaming on her finger is the ring
The quiet and unselfish promise

énouement
n. the bittersweetness of having arrived here in the future, where you can finally get the answers to how things turn out in the real world—who your baby sister would become, what your friends would end up doing, where your choices would lead you, exactly when you’d lose the people you took for granted—which is priceless intel that you instinctively want to share with anybody who hadn’t already made the journey, as if there was some part of you who had volunteered to stay behind, who was still stationed at a forgotten outpost somewhere in the past, still eagerly awaiting news from the front.

About this poem - a girl gazes into her future once, then again, in reverse.
